FurySlasher said:First op is more hype, this one more emotional. I think if you’re just saying how the song sounds, both are great but imo first is better, but the second one fits so well with the theme of the struggles of youth football and with the visuals it’s just so emotional, overall definitely prefer this one. Goddamn those visuals were fkin awesome
Honestly, I much prefer the second Opening, both in terms of visuals and in terms of song.
But damn it... I find that the Opening of the second cour is among the most beautiful I have ever seen in my life, and I am not exaggerating, if not the most beautiful. Song, but above all visuals, really so exciting and touching. They bring the essence of this work to life, which is why I like it so much. I find it has all the elements that describe what AoAshi is. Dramatic, nostalgic but at times it also conveys a good message for what is the essence of life. They do not want to forget that AoAshi was born as a manga, and in fact from the point of view of the storyboards they did something very creative, to give yet another tribute to the comic. In addition to being undoubtedly one of the most complex and most successful Openings in terms of compositing and much more among those of Production I.G.
At first listening I was also moved, I was hardly believing it. Everything I've read about the manga so far I lived in that minute and a half.
I'm so damn speechless.
AoAshi will now take a slightly more dramatic and intense direction. Each part of the Opening is not accidental.
Ashito reacts to what is the most important and most unexpected turn of his life.
This is the center of all this second cour. The succession of events is unleashed with episode 13. The fact that he has set back so far is not so coincidental.

Ashito begins to learn that he could learn something from Akutsu.

This part is very important to the story and will determine an important twist between the relationship between Aoi and Hana.

The friendship between Otomo and Ashito also intensifies. They understand more and more how important one is to the other. He too, like Hana, notices a profound change in Ashito.

Tachibana, like Aoi, will also play a very important role. We begin to grow and understand many things. Our self-esteem and understanding how much we are worth is something very important to everyone.

The presence of the eagle at the top is not accidental: it represents Ashito and his view from above observing his mother. Ashito's mother represents Aoi's greatest motivation in moving forward. Ashito's mother represents Aoi's greatest motivation in moving forward. A reason to continue living his life with a passion for football.

Finally, Ashito's soul travels among the players who made history in Tokyo City Esperion FC. The irrepressible spirit of continuing to improve, despite things not always going well, will certainly lead him to obtain great results and to rise again as a winner from the most difficult moments.
