Netflix's batch drop binge-style way of releasing shit is so annoying. At least for anime, don't do shit like this. I'm excited but fuck Netflix for messing with the hype of this part.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

MAL has unfortunately become a brain dead extension of the worst and most moronic aspects of Twitter

I am so excited for this. I understand why fans prefer weekly releases for episodes, but fans saying that there is no hype or excitement for this are dumb. Shows like stranger things, squid game, etc are the most popular show with the most hype of all time and they drop their episodes all at once. Also, blaming Netflix is so dumb lol. It’s the production committee that makes deals with companies like Netflix and determine if the episodes get released all at once or fully. Nonetheless, it doesn’t matter if the episodes come out once a week or not, watch it if you like the show, don’t watch it if you don’t. True fans don’t give a shit and will enjoy it anyways, they don’t need the community to be hyping it up for them to feel enjoyment from it. I am happy they all come out at once personally as I can binge all 12 episodes in the entire day so :D

see i agree with the point. But understand that shows like stranger things, squid game or any other TV series has always been released in batch. Whereas, anime culture is weekly release. People are easily able to follow anime weekly.

Secondly, if they wanted to release in batch, they should have dropped all episodes at once. This batch thing is bad marketing, watch 12 episodes, wait for an year. This breaks the flow. Most people would like to watch it in flow weekly, even if release date is a little late.

Friends are nothing more than the people who you spend the fun, yet meaningless times with. When those times get rough, they aren’t there to support you.

24eps aren't enough, we need 39.

Anyways, ig part 6 will extend to 3 seasons....The best parts are yet to be covered. For this season, I'm hyped for Ermies' backstory.
WISHED I COULD ALSO GET TRANSPORTED TO A WORLD FULL OF MAGIC And DUNGEONS, please take me there too if you could ( ◜‿◝ )

I see what you mean, but JoJo part 6 doesn't need "good marketing". It's literally the 6th part, it doesn't need to be marketed towards new fans because they have to watch parts 1-5 anyways. Part 6 is only for the people who are fully caught up and are genuine fans of the franchise, as it is quite a bit of a commitment to watch this since it's quite long. It doesn't need to have weekly release hype, as the fans will watch it either way. It's not like people will drop the show because it's dropping in bulk rather than weekly lol

Jojo has a special place in my heart. One of my favorite anime hands down. I waited since 2019 for the new season and Netflix butchered my hype for it and gave me a bad taste in my mouth. At least I am more than happy to hear that the company is failing.

bro batch/binge release kills to gain new interest to the series thats why Part 6 anime aint as known as Part 5 anime its also not gaining new fans fast versus to Part 5 because if its batch release they gonna talk about the series for just 2-3 days lol so much for Netflix marketing i used to think that i dont care on how they release because im just thirsty for a new JoJo anime especially Part 6 but knowing this is gonna happen this shit killed my hype man

Weekly > Batch/Binge release ALL DAY

bro binge/batch release is the reason why Part 6 anime is not gaining new interest because it was only talked for about 2-3 days lol so much for good marketing by Netflix also it does not help from gaining new fans the series this is the reason why the Part 6 anime is not as known as the Part 5 anime which is the peak popularity of the JoJo anime that release format just dont work for long term reasons

at first i dont mind on how they gonna release the series because i was thirsty for new JoJo anime or JoJo content in general cuz its been years since the Part 5 anime ended and the Part 8 manga just ended too especially this is Part 6 the Final Part of the Main JoJoverse but after knowing whats happening and realizing that the fact is this shit not helping the series it also kills my hype for the anime

so the release format 100% MATTERS

WEEKLY > BATCH/BINGE RELEASE ALL DAY

this shit aint gonna end until 2023 so theres is gonna be 3 chapters of Part 6 anime = 39 episodes and we aint gonna see the Part 7 anime that early its gonna be 2024 in the earliest but i doubt that because dp tend to rest the series for 1 year plus another almost 1 year of marketing for the next JoJo anime project so i think its gonna be on 2025 by that time they learned their lesson for making the release format to batch/binge release cuz they should be also because i dont want them to fucked up the release format of the Part 7 anime because its the best part of the whole JoJo series
