The 12th and final episode of the Date A Live IV television anime announced on Saturday that a fifth season is in production. The new season will air under the title Date A Live V. AIC Plus+ produced the first anime season in Spring 2013. The second season by Production IMS premiered in 10 episodes the following Spring. The Date A Live: Mayuri Judgment anime film screened in Japan in August 2015. J.C.Staff produced the third season, which aired in Winter 2019. The fourth season by GEEK TOYS premiered on April 8. Please, change the studio, I beg you. We've been suffering for cheap ass adaptations from cheap ass studios for the last 3 seasons. How does something this popular to get 5 seasons, just for the Production Committee to give it to something like Geek Toys. (Admittedly, their best looking show so far but that's a low bar) |

Hoping no delays this time around though, like what happened with this fourth season. |

I suppose the rumours of a 5th season was true after all. No idea how much content is left but it feels like this could get a full adaption, which is great to see! |

For your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And honour your parents. If one or both of them reach old age in your care, never say to them ˹even˺ ‘ugh,’ nor yell at them. Rather, address them respectfully. And be humble with them out of mercy, and pray, “My Lord! Be merciful to them as they raised me when I was young.” (Holy Quran 17:23-24). |

Wow, can't believe they might actually adapting the whole thing. So far they've adapted vol 4 s1, vol 7 s2, vol 12 s3, 4th season maybe around vol 15-16 I'd imagine. And the LN is finished with 22 volumes. So if they make it a 24 episodes they could be done with it in s5. Still feels ridiculous they're potentially adapting 22 volumes of an anime like this. |

Ramkec said: Breh who watches this. I thought people stopped watching after S2. Their fans... No, people hated S3 because it was horrible animated and directed. 5 volumes in 12 episodes was a mistake (specially the episode 12, an entire volume in just one episde, lol). Giving to JC Staff in their lazier and worst phase ever (the times they ruined OPM2 and Index3, all at once) was a even bigger mistake. G0ldStark said: this is a joke? how much does this anime sell to have obtained 5 seasons? Chinese hard carry this, Date a Live is a huge success there, SPECIALLY Kurumi. Has multiple mobile games just there, figures, etc. And it will probably get a S6, as there are 7 volumes to go until the end, and no way in hell they gonna cram all those volumes in 12 episodes. Krumi Wars/Ragnarok, Mio Game Over, Mio True End are the probable volumes the wil adapt for this one (17 to 19, and maaaaybe the 20). Wonder if Ousama Game will ever get a anime adaptation, or even a manga... |

Don't believe the "show is too popular in the west" etc. No DxD figures are being announced that aren't reissues. DxDs isn't even halfway through the lns at this point since they chose they overestimated their resources and went 2 lns per season which is too slow nowadays. Fantasia Bunko is barely promoting the series anymore |

Where there are several new scenes, like Kurumi's head flying and shidou getting covered in blood, Miku talking about committing suicide before turning into a spirit, etc. There are episodes that are 24 min in the TV version and 30 in the BD version |
