She is pure void, so only will vanish by being part of something to be "complete". And this is Shuichi. Maybe that Shuichi on Discount intervene and do it before him, i dont know, for a happy endo. I'm satisfied by the Alien last info-dump / plot-twist. Turned to be better than i was thinking. "We were on a trip" my ass, merging with humans was the endgame of these creatures all the time. | So that's why it's called Gleipnir! Honoka's too strong to be defeated, so the only option left is to bind her. Also, it feels like Shuichi will try to do it, but Naoto will be the one to actually accomplish it. On a side note, The Orville S03E03 Mortality Paradox had a similar story. An alien species that had achieved immortality merged with humans so that they can experience death. |
