| Both are very good, and it takes place in an English fantasy setting if that matters to you Unfortunately the OVAs aren't dubbed, but I hope they are in the future |
| It really depends a lot. I like the art of dubbing and give the opportunity to work with anime but there are times when the result did not come out as expected. |
| Both are good, I personally lean towards the sub just a bit more because for whatever reason the mixing in dubbed anime is just absolutely horrible. I had my tv up at 100 watching this and I could still barely hear them speak but whenever any background noise/sound effects would happen I would have to hurry and lower my tvs volume just because it was so loud it was unreal. Idk if it’s the same on the actual physical editions but I streamed it through Funimation I believe and it was horrid. |

| Sub - I doubt I would have found especially Chise and Elias' voices nearly as emotionally engaging or entrancing in English. I never heard it in any other language other than Japanese and briefly sampling the English out of curiosity, so I can't speak to a dubbed audio track in any other language, but I would always rather watch everything in its original language anyway, whether Japanese or any other language. |
