| I kinda felt his 2022 news of Despera target was probably an overly optimistic target so I still have hopes to see this come into light considering his words that staff is working hard on this, especially since this may be the last major release from them that could stand up to the likes of Lain and Haibane Remnei considering Yoshitoshi ABe is 51 and Chiaki J. Konaka is 61 |

| If you check ABe's patreon, he mentions a project that he can't talk about due to "confidentiality obligations" in his diaries or work logs as recent as December 10th 2022. Usually you'd only find NDA's for bigger projects which could lend itself being some form of indication that this is being worked on if you'd like to interpret it as that. |
