Oh god, the theatrics are killing me lol... Also, the stakes seem trivial when you already know Yuichi somehow managed to cheese his way to another eye rolling victory.

"Omae wa mou shindeiru", almost turned the episode off then and there...

Episode was worth watching just for "Omae wa mou shindeiru". But do they really expect me to believe that Yuuichi hasn't already figured stuff out and a guy like him would cry out like that? I hope not.

Oh no, seems like Yuichi already reached his limit. He is not the most genius high school mastermind in his own anime. Maria no longer trust him and betrayed him.
Even group K already found Tenji. 😿

At this point, group C is set to lose, right? Right?

This show is crazy crazy crazy. Yuuichi made good use of the group K guys kindness using Maria as the honey trap. The part where she switches to Group K has got to be a part of Yuuichis plan right? And there's no way that Group C lost right??? Or did they, heck I'm so hyped for the next episode.

I was desperately waiting on Yuichi to come up with a plan and outsmart group K, but it looks like he may have actually taken an L? But surely there’s gotta be some type of asspull. Like no way Yuichi fully trusted Maria to be on his side ? Given he knew she was from management I think he has to have something up his sleeve which is why the ep cut off before the winner was announced.

Can’t wait for next week

didnt you watched the last scene?
that captain hit yuichi which made their team disqualify.

Yuichi's got a plan we all know it. He's probably going to win on some loophole. He had no reason to trust the girl, especially in telling her where Tenjin's location is.

There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that it's not a tied game, or the other team gave up. Yuiichi now knows who's the real leader, and I feel like that's the real puzzle to crack. Alternatively, just offering to sell the other two out who were 'playing the game of chicken with them' also seems equally likely, since it's surprising to see that they let him walk out of cellphone hear-ability range, even though they were supposedly watching Yuiichi. I was kind of in disbelief that the other team did find the hideout, but truthfully, I'm guessing Yuiichi also figured out trying to drag out a game where they don't have free access to food would be a losing game for the minority here.

P.S. IDK why- while I knew she was from management, lowkey forgot it was the same girl making observations in the first episode.

It's true Even if Tenji doesn't shout. Kei knows where Tenji is. He just wanted to bully Tenji. And actually Tenji is a smart person. But he cannot control himself. If someone insults or hurts someone they love

I don't think it was possible for yuuichi tell Maria exactly where is the cave, maybe he just gave her a general location near the cave.

Yes, but in the end, Kei was able to find him anyway. because he is not the only one looking for But there are 2 other friends of him who are helping to find in the area as well.

Obviously you don't feel tension or thrill, you read the manga, you literally know what is happening genius xD

Look around you, the majority is praising the episode and wondering about what will happen, this pretty much debunk what you said about lack of tension and thrill.

I do think Maria may not have actually betrayed Yuiichi (Harley Quinn wouldn't just betray her Joker like that) but I'm not sure how, I'm too dum-dum to figure that out.

Also Yuiichi isn't that dumb that he wouldn't figure out, just like Kei, that Maria is probably connected to the management, and use that to his advantage.

The K Group, to me, is more likable than Yuichi's old group that I even hope somehow both groups win and Yuiichi can merge his group with Kei's on the next stage of the game.

you do know if the captain is out in the open before the game ends then his group loses since the hider isn't allowed to move after picking a hiding spot. just saying that the point you pointed out doesn't prove your point

Bruh i knew some genius would say "you know what's going to happen" and that's not the case, the episode was badly done and i was looking forward for this one because the last 3 were actually well adapted, but this one was not the case.
Even the manga told which team won in the end of the chapter left a better cliffhanger than this episode. But does surprise me that even so there are people who really enjoyed this.

Edit: Actually no, idk why i thought that manga had told who won in the end of the chapter but whatever. In the manga the execution was still better

Haven’t read the manga but here’s my guess how Yuuichi pulled out a win. He waited until the other team was far enough away and then called the captain on the phone. Then he started beating up and torturing Hyakutarou so the captain can hear in order to force him to come out of hiding to save Hyakutaou since everyone else on his team was far away. Which the captain did and resulted in his team being disqualified.

Woah look at all that twist, and reverse card they pull around, and then the preview though. Very interesting idea to put something as vague as shit like that to put more tension in the air! Funny how Yuuichi and Tenji saying the same thing exactly signed of their desperation sound real. Because, wait a minute, the game is still unclear, so unless there's really such a way to said it more clear, its still not the end. By what? By watching next episode, ofc! So yea, let's wait till next week!

true he doesn't uses some rocket science tricks, he is just street smart, cunning, desperate for win and will go any length for it.

In most of genius mc , they show some bullshit twist, but here the things he uses, after knowing u would be able to connect to them, they tricks are so simple but only after knowing.

I've also been thinking the same, that Maria never actually, truly betrayed the plan (possibly) and they had already anticipated the dwarf to make a move after he revealed himself the one pulling the strings.
The reason why she was so excited and smiling was probably because it was all going "according to plan". She managed to keep up with an annoying plan of not doing ANYTHING for days and still play her part, why would she just drop it now in a few seconds of doubt, when there are no stakes associated to her.

Yuuiichi since the start avoided letting her know the exact location of Tenji ( even throwing her off the cliff served a double purpose in that effect), so it is pretty much obvious whatever he told her on the phone was information given with an ulterior purpose. He also left Tenji without food and water for many days, he was in no rush to get him more supplies when Tenji still had a stockpile.

As it stands, I'm guessing being alone with Dumb Romeo dude and not having anyone tail them was premeditated. If he is such a time bomb, how would he react to knowing the leader he looked up so much either didn't stand for him or just saw him as a nuisance? I'm sure he might have still served some purpose.

Plus. Yuuichi's dramu ending show-off was way too dramatic and unreal lol

Man the last sequence from this episode made me so uncomfortable, this is just bullshit way to lose, for me it would be like Hinata and Kageyama(from) get stomach aches, befero the finals of the national, and because of that they were unable to play, i mean, i really like to see the main chatacter losing sometimes, but this was so dull that makes me want the author to invent some actual bullshit to make him win.
