I just finished rewatching Weathering With You for the fourth time yesterday because it is my favourite movie anime, but I have a slight problem I need to address to everyone because I need advice on how do I cope with it and it's been eating me up inside
since then.

Let me tell you the whole story, so I was on a mood when I was watching the movie and I really needed a good cry that time so I thought it's a good idea to watch this movie. Fast forward, that sad scene came up I was really building up the courage to cry and in result I let out a few tears, not too much and then after I finished the whole movie I felt empty. Some symptoms started appearing like a slight fever and headaches while I also lost sense of appetite as well.

So please help me it has been happening since yesterday and I don't have someone else to talk to. This actually never happened before when I finished watching the anime for the first time.

you may have covid or something. you should talk to your doctor or parents rather than to some random people on anime forum

I suggest not to rewatch your "favourite" series again and again for a period of time as you might get bored repeating it endlessly...

I am neither a psychiatrist nor a doctor, you should go to one of their respective facilities if you must.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

i don't think those are symptoms of anime anxiety...
yes anime does give you serious depression at times(some scenes hit hard🙂)
but getting fever and appetite issue is something else... get yourself checked I'll say
you need to be in good health to endure more post anime depressions

Talk to someone in real, like person to person. Other than that I'd say eat literally everything that is in front of you (edible ofc). Apparently eating helps a lot.

ngl, tbh thats a bit exxagarated if the reason is the "whethering With You" movie, maybe you have a sick that didint regard to the situation your talking to?

if thats the first anime that made you cry, be atleast prepared cuz i guarantee you that theres much more animes that will definitely make you cry and is in better degree than that.

you should go to a doctor instead of asking here man

Friends are nothing more than the people who you spend the fun, yet meaningless times with. When those times get rough, they aren’t there to support you.

why would you want to watch an anime to cry? crying while watching an anime is one thing, and watching anime just for a better cry is just a too crazy idea. just enjoy a show and sleep and next day go with another show

I had similar symptoms after watching White Album 2 ,i had really terrible abdomen pain , fever , headache , i could barely eat and slept like shit. So i went to a doctor and through 2-3 days of visiting different specialists they concluded im completely fine , so i went back to my GP with the results and he told me its most likely on emotional level . He told me how emotional disbalance can cause huge body discomfort without having a real problem with your body. You shouldnt ignore the symptoms and you should visit a doctor but keep in mind that if the anime left something in your mind , even if its on subconscious level ,it could very well be the cause and will usually wear off by itself. In any case i wish you fast recovery and stay strong!

If you’re experiencing physical pain or discomfort, that is not the product of entertainment and you should seek medical attention.

it's normal these days too much heat and all it could be anything just go to the doctor and don't worry too much it's not related to what you are saying. in fever it's obvious we lose taste and appetite problem happens too. I have just recovered from one today and believe me food still tastes bitter tho anime has nothing to do with it and apologies if I sound rude or anything.

I'm not so sure but these kind of animes only tear up sensitive people, or people who can relate, which shouldn't be the case since it is fiction.
Anyways, a anime that can make anyone who watches it AND understands it is Violet Evergarden.
There are a few other or many other animes which actually do tear up people.
yes.

If you want a good cry I really suggest not to rewatch something you have watched previously. Aside from you getting spoiled by ending, it's good to see other animes with sad ending. Some anime I recommend are Hotarubi no Mori e, Violet evergarden, and Grave of the Fireflies

i just got the coof coof. So that may be it?

But if you want something really wholesome to brighten things up an episode of laid back camp always cheers me up (1st episode is free on youtube)

if you want to cry again try Usagi drop. masterpiece of a show.
He died doing what he wanted, no matter what, right? I bet he was happy.

Good luck with berserk Kouji Mori, you'll need all the help you can get. We believe in you.
