is there any anime like this kind of ending? Actually the ending was great for me(no wonder if anyone hates it. Its their opinion). I kinda liked it! So plz tell me if there are anime like this kind of ending?

Its very similar to Evangelion but that's the only one I can think of that's similar

The ending was phenomenal. It’s something you do not immediately expect but it leaves you with thoughts about live and death. It’s not meaningless as the ending is in other animes, where you simply get a Happy End with everything being in order and peace.

Yeah this ending was dogshit. Of everything he could have done he chose the absolute worst. Most mid anime out there

I think the anime is is overhated ...I know that first 12 episode of anime was really mid but after that proffesor character was so deep and th ending was also very unexpected and good ....so similar like ending is
Devilman crybaby, evangelion or if u want only dark ending taht leaves u liek wtf happened then shiki or fate zero
