Why is this so obscure?

I doubt anyone will read this but, why is this anime so obscure? It had such great scenes and story, but the execution was just shit. I don't understand why it doesn't get much attention and yet, such anime out there get so much attention for nothing.

The cover art, the title. Positively screams generic. Plus, it's a parody. Most people on MAL are too dumb to understand parodies. They take them literally instead.

It was a funny anime. I didn't like too much the main character (forgot the name), and the ecchi element felt a lot forced into the plot. On the positive side, I appreciate that it wasn't a lazy anime, showing some fresh ideas and decent mecha animation. Also longlive the penguin empire
