Bloody hell the proof notes for FA05 is a convoluted mess...lemme see if I can organize it somewhat?

I got spoiled by your scripts...but its not like I just mindlessly copy/pasta ;)
You be the mediator between the conflicting ones viny :D

p77:
"Someone who (will) treat us as an individual, not only needing us in order to obtain certain goals." -s

I prefer the other one since even though grammatically correct...its just a needlessly complicated version of the first one.
"Someone not needing us for some specific goal, but to treat us as one." -p

p78:
"It seems like kids don't always live up to their expectations, even if their parents are extraordinary." -s

Yeah I suppose that "their" makes it sound better but feels redundant imo. -p

"If this continues, his father might not be able to rest in peace..." -s

I thought this was Rentarou's bubble? -p

p79:
i propose a change from 'great guy' to 'hero' so long as the context is not changed -v

not sure since the words mean two different things. shin's gonna have to look at that -p

sure go ahead. Remember, we're doing a J->C->E scans so the translations are probably way off 30% of the time to begin with. -s

Hero it is then!

p80:
"Also tried dating some girls." -s

Yeah that one slipped through the net, but technically still right :D -p

p81:
"Hard as it is to believe, I had nothing to do after graduating from college..." -s

Like the first one better since this is just pointlessly long. Would sound better if you removed 'hard as it is to believe'
"After graduating from college, I had nothing to do…"-p

p82:
do you mean deprived?
and 'eat yet today' sounds funny. 'have I even eaten anything today'?

'when was the last time I spoke to someone'
'lacking strength= 'to die from exhaustion' -v

nah depraved has a different meaning from deprived.
hmm acceptable change, but i kind of already like the line so once again up to the shin. -p

Depraved wasn't the exact Chinese translation but probably the closest thing and probably closer to the original Japanese anyways -s

Sticking to depraved

p90:
"Even though I'm jealous of my dad for being such an iconic figure, at the same time, I idolized him. Always has." -s

Hmm better, but I don't mind the first one as well...(modified somewhat)
"Even though I’m jealous of my dad for being such an iconic figure, I idolize him at the same time." - p

This is like the first time the 3 of us have all given our input in a chapter :D

77:
Someone who treats us as individuals, who would stay with us for who we are

82:
well if it's still not quite right, chuck me the raw and let me ave a shot at em

81:
agree with pimp
'and now I'm just bumming around after graduating from college' something along those lines

p77:
Right since we all have our own different takes to it...I'll just stick with the original line =P

p82:
Just changed it to this,
Seems like I’m becoming more depraved day by day, have I even eaten yet today?

And scene? Think the chapter is good now and all we're doing is prettifying things?

p78: No that line was from the bystanders, hence the correction
p81: Well the Chinese had even though it's hard to believe or something along that line there, I just took it out in the original translation

82: the original was 頹廢 I think. Well, as original as the Chinese translation is anyways

Hah we're just arguing about semantics now so shall we call it a day or do you guys want the jp scans? I'll list the changes I made?

p77:
"who will let us become free"

p78:
"If this continues, his father might not be able to rest in peace..."

p79:
changed 'great guy' to 'hero' (though I think great guy works better, but 2 to 1 so meh)

p80:
"Also tried dating some girls."

p81:
"I had nothing to do after graduating from college..."

...ah screw it i'll just upload draf2 and you guys decide if it's worth checking over again =P

@ shin
Yeah you probably right about the definition. It should mean somethong like "lack of direction and goal in life'

Can't be stuffed indeed!

Dear Pimptoad:

I have full confidence in whatever files you churn out. I believe my trust is well placed without me going over the anime and the manga in 3 languages again. Thank you very much for asking and your consideration.

That is all.

In translation...you can't be stuffed =P

Ah well that's that! Should we go for a double release alongside FoA07?
