Note:
1. Every interest stack that isn't credited to someone, had been made by me
2. Letters that don't appear, don't mean they don't have a guide in the AEGC, but that neither of them contain 5 entries.
Q: Do you aim to make a stack for all the guides that have been made in the club? A: The final aim for the interest stack project is to adapt all the guides who have 5 entries or more in the club,
Currently, though, we will aim more at popular and requested stacks. And slowly we will adapt all the guides.
Q: Can I ask for some guide to be adapted? A: Sure! For this, we created this thread, place your request in the comments and we will make sure to make the stack. But before requesting, please note a couple of things you should check:
1. The stack isn't made already
2. The stack you are asking for isn't in the "In making" section.
3. And the important thing - is that the stack you are asking for is available in a guide format.
For point 3, check the Entry Guide Index
If the anime isn't there, and the entry has more than 2 entries per series, please request its guide in the Club page.
In case the guide had been made, request for the guide to adapt to stack in this thread and not in the guiding thread or the club page.
Thank you for understanding.
Q: I have found a mistake in the stack page! Where do I report? A: Thank you for noticing, but the first thing we should check what the source of the mistake.
If: 1. The mistake is in the items list in the stack. or: 2. the mistake is in the original guide.
In the case of each of them, to make sure there is a problem follow the next guideline:
a. In the no.1 case, check if the description of the stack says there's a problem, as there had been case like this already.
b. In the no.2 case, go to the original guide that is mentioned in the stack description, to see if the mistake is there as well.
c. If, after all, the mistake is in the stack and there's no justification for that, as it doesn't follow the original guide, send PM to the stack opener explaining the mistake. Do not comment about the error in this thread.
d. If the mistake is in the original guide, however, comment about it in the original guide thread. In case the mistake has been fixed, send PM to the stack opener so he can fix the stack too.
Q: I have found another "Watching order" stack in MAL, are they legit? A: The Anime Entry Guide Club has the right for itself to have its own official stack.
It doesn't mean though that independent people cannot make their own stack to order of watching.
The big difference is (as hinted) that the stacks for the club are based on our professional guides, which can be made by every user but finally edited by the club admin @ cjessop19 to be accurate, and in an easy-to-read and understandable manner.
While the order of watching stack being made by others is based on their own way and opinion. It doesn't necessarily mean they are wrong.
So, though we would love you to restack our own stacks, there is no dictatorship here, and you can choose your own stack for watching order.
Q: I want to help create interest stacks for the club! A: That's great! You can surely create interest stacks for the club.
But like the guide club's strict rules for sending guides, please follow the following rules:
1. First of all, check the interest stack you wanna make have guide in the Entry Guide Index.
2. Check if the interest stack hasn't already been made, whether on the Interest Stack Index, the "In making" section, or by searching AEGC in the Interest Stack page, as there might be Interest Stacks being sent and hasn't added to the index yet.
3. Send PM to @ cjessop19 or @User-Name (me) your desired entry to make, so we can reserve your stack for that entry and insert it in the "In making" section.
4. After making the Interest Stack, send the URL link to @ cjessop19 or @User-Name in PM, we will check quickly if the Interest stack is following our "How to make" rules and will add it to the Index with credit. How to make rules
Though basically it's a matter of copy-paste, we would love to keep the Interest Stacks consistent and formatively, as follows:
1. The title would be:
[AEGC] <enter the name of the anime here> Guide watch order
2. The description of the Interest Stack would be:
A comprehensive watch order of the <enter the name of the anime here> series, which includes every entry of the <enter the name of the anime here> franchise.
Original Guide: <enter the URL link of the original guide here>
AEGC Interest Stack index: AEGC Interest Stack [Index & FAQ]
3. The items order needs to be exactly like in the original guide.
In case some entry isn't in the New Item Search list:
First of all, try to use the full name for the entry and not only the general name for the series.
If it's still not listed, mention in the Interest Stack description that there's a missing item.
4. In the items description you need to copy-paste the details for each entry from the original guide. Note: You don't have to put the stats line (Type, Episodes # and such), as the Interest Stack list already does half of it.
5. Publish it in the Public state.
After that, follow the above rules for how to send the Interest Stack. If the Interest Stack does not follow the above, we will not be entering it into to Index, so pay attention to the rules! Do not send the Interest Stack links in this thread, only in PM. Note: if there guide you wanna make an interesting stack for it is outdated, comment on the guide and wait for it to be updated. Thank you so much for your help and understanding
Q: I have a question not appearing in the FAQ section, can I leave a comment on this thread? A: Yes!
