I started this anime and i am in 8th episode. But till now it was not that good. Should I continue or this series is not for me???

it gets way better
also depends what you are looking for
if you want fights or great adventure, db is one of the best picks

it gets better after this first arc, this arc is only 12 episodes, so you don't have a lot left if that. imo, this is probably the worst arc in db, not bad exactly, but the others are better for me anyways

i watched this show recently and i loved it.
if you are looking for a great fighting/adventure anime i recommend this one.
imo watch till about episode 50 abd if your still not interested, maybe drop it

I love Dragon Ball, honestly DBZ and DBS are not really worth it cuz it’s the same shit again and again(I watched all of them). If you wanna watch something to just relax then watch only Dragon Ball. If you’re a shoūnen fanboy then you can watch DBZ and DBS, either way you should definitely finish Dragon Ball

Dragon Ball is the father of mainstream shonen, every anime fan should at least get the gist of it, you'll understand how it inspired so many other shows,and the influence it had on the big 3 as well as today's new gen shounens.

The first arc is probably the worst. Definitely watch the second arc if you don’t like it after watching the second arc then og db probably ain’t for you

It definitely gets better the first arc is pretty mediocre but the second arc is great and most of the arc after that are fantastic

You shouldn't endure.
Either you watch slowly or stop watching.
In no case should you skip the first season and move on to the DBZ (this is a mistake of almost all americans).

It's definitely worth watching just make sure you are okay with the old animation.

make the show hilarious. If you like to laugh, then you'll enjoy it.

It is by far my favorite anime and I personally think it is the best anime. It seems strange that you don't like the first 8 episodes that much but for me I absolutely loved them and all of dragon ball. It's a wonderful series and you definitely will not regret it. It is worth all the time. I highly recommend.

It will go by fast if you keep watching it. You should still watch DB so you can understand the storyline before DBZ because there’s characters in DB that you should know that are important in the future. DBZ is when it gets good so if you want to watch the DB series a second time you can skip DB and watch DBZ then DBS. In my opinion, I love the series all together it’s one of my favorite anime.

I think I set a pr in terms of binge watching when I last watched it lol.
I enjoyed it because I just love dragon ball especially kid Goku and there was an element of nostalgia behind it too.

But I would’t recommend watching unless you are a fan of the dragon ball franchise or you are genuinely committed since it will take up a lot of your time (which could be spent watching many other anime on your watch list)

But hey a good alternative is the manga like people are saying if you want to save time.
I haven’t gotten round to reading it yet but it’s high on my to-read list.

You can look up a filler guide to avoid non-manga content. Google it. And i suggest you to keep watching, it does get better.

Oh and don't skip the Red Ribbon saga. Although you could find it a bit dragged out i think it's necessary for the natural flow of the story.

There is such.
There was a time when Dragon Ball opened anime for me from a completely different perspective. What I considered standard clichés that will be everywhere - turned out to be just the trends of modern anime, which DB completely ignored and showed a story unlike any other.

Worth watching and less listening to recommenders in a country where Hunter is considered a good work, at best just not bad.
It's really useless to tell - you just need to look. Adventure, comedy, martial arts - shonen, in a word.
Only "shonen" without all the problems that you expect from him - without whining and speeches on pieces of paper, without the great goals of becoming the Hokage of All Pirates in Soul Society, and along with this, finding a father. Without dull archetypes "An idiot who can't do anything and overcomes, a gloomy sidekick gifted from birth and from the most famous family on the planet, who is the brains and voice of reason of the team. Furious TP that will beat everyone. who, in turn, will be the coolest all the way. A villain who has a sad backstory about how, as a child, playing in the sand with sensei, they did not share the candy and he realized how deeply this world was rotten and there was nothing left but suffering "and etc. No dull sterile jokes about one character doing something stupid (or not even stupid) and getting hit on the head for being stupid.
But Dragonball is a shounen with a huge array of features and benefits that basically make a good story, regardless of genre. Instead of the above list - still relevant and interesting plot and characters, immortal music, far superior to modern animation in all respects, unique visuals in general, great scripts and staging, as well as funny jokes (although not all of them, of course) .
P.s. All of the above applies only to that part of the Dragon Ball that is older than the year 2000. After this year, something began to come out to which none of the above applies.
