| Luffy is JoyBoy confirmed? Other than that I do appreciate the brief backstory, it really gives more dept to Kaido as a character, but do i consider this a full proper backstory? Nope! As I said, it was brief and it served its purpose. Just like how we get to see glimpses of Doflamingo's childhood moments before he got slammed down to the ground by Luffy's fist. We eventually get to see a whole proper backstory between Doflamingo, Law and Corazon. The same can be said in Kaido's position. In fact, if there ever came to be a whole backstory, it will definitely revolve around Kaido, King, Yamato and most excitingly, the Rock's pirates. However, for now, we'll see how this fight really concludes... People have been arguing as to which is the best course for the event. Kaido being defeated here and now, or prolonging the fight forevermore... |

| Chapter 1049 declares the end of Luffy vs Kaido. The victory goes to Luffy. I must say, this was quite a long-ass fight with so many different kind of clashes, abilities, techniques used. From very serious moments to hilarious ones. I've enjoyed all the clashes to the fullest and can't wait to see the remaining animated. You know what I can't wait for. The birds with the news announcing the victory of Luffy around the whole world. That'll give me so many goosebumps. |
