| Pariston (your vote) Pariston hill was unique role and charismatic nature and was impressive in just a short apperance Meruem had a good theme behind him, backing his character. Character development was quite nice Chrollo kind of had potential but it was never expanded or provided sufficient representation Hisoka and illumi are creepy. Hisoka in particular played the odd guy antagonist of the show. But that's about it to him. illumi is more develop version of him, but with lesser screen time to appeal audience. One the other hand hisoka is blander version with unusually long screen time to make audience feel attached. But his role was hardly integral to plot and felt forcefully prolonged. Pitou and Pouf and Youpi played their parts decently. But they were not per say interesting or contracting to pay much attention. they were much better character than previously appeared chimera (who were basically tonpa and bomber level shitty characters). Still these 3 did lacked contrast which was kind of present in those poorly written other chimeras Other Phontom Troupe member also didn't have sufficient representation just like chrollo to make a decent opinion. They may be more interesting than royal guards if they were actually developed Tonpa and Bomber are just regular scumbag trash. One can fight and other cant |

I think you should say somewhat slow because if the pacing is terrible means it is unwatchable but I don't think that much people dropped hxh compared to other long series. can be full of plot holes,can be incredibly contrived and can be feel like nothing more than a generic shounen Examples? I'm not saying it is perfect but saying "full of plot holes" is a bit exaggeration. |
