Hunter x Hunter was the first anime I watched once I got back into anime and I bawled my eyes out at the end of the Chimera Ant arc. A good anime start lol

I’m still yet to cry, but the shows that got me closest were Fumetsu No Anata, Re:Zero, and World End.

Idk but I chose Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso as my first ever anime.
Haven't mentally prepared for that so I "cried" pretty hard back then.

Nah you just haven't found the one. I used to be the same way until I found that anime. it was a silent voice for me.

I watched A Silent Voice. In fact its my favorite anime movie. But I didn't even tear up

Angel Beats was among the first anime I watched, though, I didn’t cry. I did cry at the end of Madoka Magica though, which I watched not too long after.

Mine was aot when Reiner and Bert got (spoiler), that’s not sad to me anymore though. I sobbed at the end of monogatari not sad but just upset it was over. For manga it was berserk when the band of the hawk got (spoiler), then at the end of land of the lustrous… just seeing phos like that hurt. I cried at the end of little busters but you people probably can’t relate to that one.
I cried when Hachikuji got (spoiler). Others I cried during include
Steins gate
Made in abyss
Re zero

I also cried irl when my grandpa (spoiler)

I cried rewatching AOT’s Red Swan opening after finishing the final season. Gurren no Yumiya still gives me chills when the thousand scouts jump up too
