The official website of the Utawarerumono: Futari no Hakuoro (Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth) television anime revealed returning supporting cast, staff, key visual (pictured), and first promo on Tuesday. The anime series is scheduled to run for 28 episodes beginning July 2022.

Singer Suara is returning from the previous seasons to perform the opening and ending themes "Hito Nanda" and "Hyakunichisou," respectively.

Kenichi Kawamura (Steins;Gate 0) is helming the fantasy drama series at White Fox. Itsuki Yokoyama (Overlord II script) is writing the script. Masahiko Nakada (Utawarerumono) serving as both the character designer and chief animation director.

The new key visual and PV look quite bad. I have no real hope for this adaptation after the mess that was last season so I'm just hoping for some good new music at this point.
