They kept the momentum and pacing of the previous episode and carried right into this finale. I have to admit, this was another exciting episode between both sides as they competed against each other.

There was rivalries on court but also felt like a sign of mutual respect.

A surprisingly fun show overall imo. Haru still has a lot to learn but he's come a long way.

The match between the juggernaut Adalbert and the underdog Koyo continues, and this is an exhilarating match no less since it's the finale.

Sakaki would by now, have no choice but to finally trust his teammates, and that issue, now escalates to a problem where Haru feels like it's a half-assed attempt. At least between Toi and Kaito, their rivalry is justified, and given a bit of effort, they can come to a mutual understanding, as such with Sasaki FINALLY understanding how Haru has grown and worked hard to keep up with him to give them the win.

Good game guys, and well done for the effort to both teams.

This might be a good end, but it doesn't discount the fact that the whole anime just feels like a garbage placement of a marketing product.

Welp, and after all this, it's what they'll do in the nationals that we won't get to see. Kinda sad tbh.

because both teams died in a bus accident while going for match (btw they were in same bus for confidential reasons) No, really you really have to ask there next to 0 chance that this will get another season I personally like last episodes but overall whole season was garbage

As far as final matches go, this was decent. Sakaki's conflict and his resolution was also surprisingly believable.

Overall though? Very unmemorable show and it does feel like it wanted to be a football show rather than about futsal

It was an okay series I really liked the first few episodes but then it kind of went downhill for me from there. Sakaki I didn't mind the first few episodes in but I really started to dislike him later on. Thinking he would stop being such a giant douche in the early episodes because it is such a short anime he would have his come to Jesus moment early on but of course it waited until the last episode.

I mean I know he has some trauma but that was just ridiculous.
Though I am kind of sad I didn't get to see them play in nationals, there could have been at least one of the needless episodes cut out so there could have been an episode of them playing at nationals. Unless they are setting up for a sequel which may or may not happen since it really wasn't the best series.

Man I was actually enjoying the first few episodes and said if it focuses on some drama later on, it could become not a fun watch. Unfortunately this was the case when someone decided to make the main conflict about a character not being able to pass to his team members... Yes, Sakaki's backstory does make some sense, but it was just too dragged out that it was frustrating to watch. And then Haru's father's cameo in this last episode. Dude having a fun life it seems, even though he traumatized Haru.

Anyways, I do still appreciate some of the plays that were animated, even though a lot of it was also reused, but there was definitely attention put into some of the details. I also quite liked the character designs.

I'm not into sports anime bc unrealistic, exaggerated characteristics and plots, tend to go on for too long, and end up making the sports ridiculous.

Futsal Boys feels rushed, some sport moments was just slideshows and there was a lack of animation some times. There were one thing I really hated and was the names given to players' special moves... hello?? why? plus, a whole season to pass... insane.

in classic sports fashion they manage to solve their problems at the end and win. though ngl it was a nice feeling seeing it.

anywho overall this isn't entirely the worse thing I've seen but also not the greatest either. I think I do have to give it credit fwiw with the animation, for a soccer based series it actually wasn't that bad at times. I do wish there were more uses of those special whatever the fuck they were thingies though, could've actually had some potential with that.

The drama a lot of questions asked not much answered (especially with the hanebado 2.0 dad) but I'm guessing they'd be for a potential S2 if ever

For a glorified commercial for a gacha game, this anime certainly wasn't terrible. I'd say it was on par with a couple other mediocre original sports anime I've seen in the past couple years.
The animation picked up some for the finale, which was nice to see, considering it was mostly just the match.

I almost considered dropping it, but after having had dropped a couple other anime this season, I figured I'd might as well stick with it till the end

My biggest gripe was that the story dragged out Sakaki not wanting to pass to Yamato till the goddamned finale. It got so boring as that dumb drama dragged on. They could have at least done the reveal about his "trauma" that happened with his friend earlier on to make him look like less of an asshole.

I guess it all worked out in the end, but eh. The biggest plot point that didn't get resolved was Yamato's deadbeat dad. I mean, there's no way this will get a second season. I guess the story will continue in the gacha game...?

Okk so it was kind of an average anime show

Well thanks to this anime that I got to know about another game - Futsal

It was pretty forgettable though I will admit it had its fair share of fine moments..........

If only the OSTs could have been better and if only the character design could have been realistic

anyway it will get 6/10 from my side

What a decent finale after the Koyo Gakuen managed to win the final round. Sakaki finally gets the character development in the end. Was he really a tsundere? xD
Although the show is boring from the start, its pacing improves throughout the second half. It has many flaws, but it made me a bit enjoyed.

6/10, one of the animes that aren't memorable enough this season. I guess it could've been better from its aspects.

I honestly expected Sakaki passing problem to have been resolved after the beach volleyball episode instead of dragged out over this whole season.

Overall this bishounen doing futsal with occasional super moves anime unsurprisingly turned out to be quite meh as was clear from the start
