Worth continuing?

So I just started Eureka Seven and I'm 5 episodes in and not really enjoying it. I've heard good things about it so I'm wondering it has a slower/rockier start or if y'all feel like if 10% in I'm not enjoying it, I probably won't enjoy the rest?

It has a pretty slow start. I’d say it picks up around 20 episodes in (and the quality gets way more consistent). So if you think you could watch 14 or more episodes to see it pick up on pace than be my guest but don’t force yourself just cuz people told you it was good.

I agree, If you gave it 5 episodes and you Don’t like it that’s fine, you gave it a chance. It really is a special anime, one of my favorites if not my favorite. It does certainly take time to pick up. It’s not for everyone so I’d say if you gave it a chance and it’s not for you put it on hold. Come back at a different time in your life and give it another chance however, sometimes anime makes more of an impact on you when the time is right to watch it.

The beginning is probably the worst part of the whole anime, so if you don't like, you still can enjoy the rest.

I found this show very frustrating and ultimately unsatisfying. It stalls way too much on important revelations. The characters are mostly fun and there is some good action, but unless you really get a kick out of world building for its own sake, I would say it is not worth watching.
