I kinda dislike how their wins are always supported by great deal of luck.

Boy I wish they threw at that manager's head. He deserves more than a "review of his actions"

He deserves a divorce and a trip to jail.

If this had been real life, that coach would have turned up dead in a ditch. Literally all the adults would have gone ham.

Good game. I'm glad the robot ace became normal.

Yokohama is next? That could be brutal . . . Well, just hope everything goes well I guess.

Hopefully Shimizu doesn't get all jealous about Goro slobbering over Ryoko and unintentionally throw the game. Also, more likely, hopefully Goro doesn't slobber all over Ryoko and unintentionally throw the game.

Wow, ''terrible dad'' became ''slightly less terrible dad''. Much accomplishment. In the end, still an asshole. Can someone redeem himself toward his son after wasting years of his youth? I don't know and I'm not placed to decide it. But he also seemed like a awful husband too. What an awful human being.

I expect them to lose the match against Yokohama. They are too experianced for them and they have a pitcher equal to Goro, even though older. But you know, losing against a great team can be a nice and rewarding experiance. If it's a great match, they might even be happy.

Surprising outcome, but good lesson learned. I think the little league is the right time for this sort of thing to happen. Nothing this dramatic once they reach high school.

It's only a district tournament.

Is it only me or the match was actually 5-5 at the end. Only saw 5 players reach the base, so why is it 6 points ?

Based Ump to the rescue, what a cool fella. Terrible father and I'm not falling for that slow attitude change towards redemption bs at the end.

Now then, I think we all expect them to get rekt by Yokohama next match lol.

Usami shouldn't forgive his father now, even if he really will change he has to do a lot more than that.
Next game is against Yokohama, he needs to start pratcticing different pitches.

I'm hoping that we see him again in the future season and see what became of his family life. The show seems pretty forgiving when it comes to relations and never really paints anyone evil or punishes them harsh. The "worst" case scenario I can imagine is his parents getting a divorce and his mom taking him away, but it's kind of cliche way to punish someone. In the end, he still wanted the best for his son, even though his means of achieving that were unforgiving and selfish. As long as he makes up for everything bad he's done, Usami should forgive him.

Goro is such a little punk but he has a good heart I loved the umpire putting him in his place. Also I think this show so far has done a good job of handling emotional matters without pushing too far into melodrama.

One can just feel sorey for Usami and hope that his dad will really change his ways. Really interested to see them again during the course of the show.

Really loving the matches so far, especially these two recent serious ones. They got a good pace keeping it to 2 eps or so without dragging it out like a lot of sports anime tend to do.

Hopefully Usami and his dad have a nice dinner talking things out properly like a real father and son.

The mother should've left that shitty dad the moment he slapped little Kyuta for playing soccer.

The umpire, despite ignoring the match being held up constantly, is the real mvp for giving that coach dad a stern talking to on the true philosophy of the Little League.
