In my, almost random, attempts to learn Japanese I decided to try to read raw mangas, of course, according to my tastes BL is probably the best choice, if I am going to rack my brains to understand something, I have to be really interested in it.
I am going to start with one of my favorite mangakas, Suzuki Tsuta, and one of her newest mangas Merry Checker. My acknowledge of Japanese is near to zero, hope you can help me, any suggestions are welcomed.
My tools: EDICT, Wikipedia, Tim's Takamatsu.

Pages 1 & 2 already corrected here:

I edited now with some corrections I got here and in LJ:

Page 3
Mitsuya: 大丈夫 なんすか ソレ
  • 大丈夫【だいじょうぶ】means all right
  • なんすか: or なのですか stands for a question
  • ソレ: それ That
Probably: Is that all right?
Better: Is that okay?

Shiomi: 大丈夫って何が
Probably: What is all right ?
Better: What do you mean by "Okay"?

Mitsuya: 騙されたりしてないんですか? かなり胡散臭いですけど
  • 騙され【だまされ】Passive form+ past from 騙す(deceive). So, 'was/were deceived'
  • たり: prt. 'such things as', so 騙されたり is probably 'such things as being deceived'?
  • してないんですか: probably 'isn't that.....?'
  • かなり:considerably,fairly
  • 胡散臭い【うさんくさい】 suspicious looking; shady.
  • けど: けど is for however/but and it can be used at the end of the sentence when you've giving a reason/explanation/answer.
Probably: aren't you like...being deceived? That's quite suspicious looking.
Better: aren't you being deceived? Because this seems pretty shady

Shiomi: ぶ。お前ねえ, 出会い系か 何かだと思ってるだろ
  • ぶ: strangled sound? or about to laugh?
  • お前:you
  • ねえ: is it so
  • 出会い系 【であいけい】or 出会い系サイト means 'online dating website'
  • 何か: something
  • だと: if it's the case
  • 思ってる【おもってる】from 思う. Same as 思っている means thinking
  • だろ: or だろう used to express strong amount of certainty
Probably: Snort!. Could it be you...you are thinking about something like an online dating website right?
Better: Snort! You are thinking that it's something like a dating site, aren't you?

Mitsuya: 違うんですか
違う【ちがう】 means to differ (from)
Probably: Isn't it like that?
Better: am I wrong?

Shiomi: 違う、違う。まず、女がいねえもん
  • まず:first of all
  • 女【おんな】woman
  • が: subject marker
  • いねえもん: いない(です)もの 'there isn't. もん is used because he's answering a question and it was a んですか question, but this is a feminine way of speaking.
Probably: Wrong, wrong, first of all there isn't a woman.
Better: Wrong, wrong. First of all there are no women.

Shiomi: 同じ趣味の 盛り上がれる ダチと生で お喋りしたいの
  • 同じ【おんなじ】similar; common
  • 趣味【しゅみ】 hobby
  • の: of
  • 盛り上がれる【もりあがれる】Potential for of the verb
    盛り上がる
; able to rise. Here means "being excited about"
  • ダチ: Friend from ともだち (友達)
  • と: and
  • 生で【なまで】real life person
  • お喋り【おしゃべりした】chatter gossip
  • ダチと生でお喋りする: to chat with friends directly, not via internet, or telephone.
  • したい:want to do
  • の: feminine ending marker
Probably: No idea...I guess he is talking about how people with similar interests want to chichat and drink to become friendlier.
Better: It's chatting in person with friends that get excited about the same hobbies

Shiomi:大抵、野郎ばっかだよ
  • 大抵【たいてい】 usually; generally
  • 野郎【やろう】is like "bastard." It can be used the same way "bastard" can be. Jokingly to a friend when he's lucked out: "Ah, you lucky bastard."
  • ばっかだよ: nothing but
Probably: Usually,it's nothing but pals
Better: Usually, it's nothing but guys.

ソレ yep sometimes japanese use katakana for no apparent reason than they want to use kata :P

大丈夫って何が: "What is all right?", it seems like the same as ur translation, but it makes a big difference... He's not asking what does 大丈夫 means... :P

けど: "However" is placed in front if you want to translate it in English. like in "However, that looks really suspicious"

何かだと思ってるだろ: る is a simple conjugation of the verb. I think he's trying to say this instead: "what do you think it is"?

女がいねえもん: Hah, that one is a lil bit tricky, because it's not in the dictionary. It's a very colloquial way to say: 女がいない. So ya, first of all, there's no women... it suddenly became very yaoi at that moment lol.

盛り上がれる ダチと生で: :/ I'm not sure about ダチ either, but you're guess is as good as mine :P I've learned that 盛り上がれる also refers to "being excited about", so being excited by talking about common hobbies? XD 生 is 99% of the time not use to mean "beer". I really don't know where you got that from o.O 生 goes with ダチ、as in "living buddies". Although adding "living" to people is more understandable in Japanese than in English culture. It doesn't mean they're suppose to be dead or something like that :P

野郎ばっかだよ: You're probably right in ur explanation. I would translate it to: "Anyway, that place is usually full of dudes (*insert awkward connotative sens here, depending on who hears it)". :D

I didn't correct everything, so I'll leave the rest for other ppl... feel free to criticize my explanations too :P

Hello there...well, this manga has furigana. The thing with 生is that with that reading I get something as this:
生 【なま】 (adj-no,adj-na,n,n-pref) (1) raw; uncooked; fresh; (2) natural; unedited; unprocessed; crude; (3) (col) unprotected (i.e. not wearing a condom); (4) live (i.e. not recorded); (5) inexperienced; unpolished; green; (6) (See 生意気, 御生) (abbr) impudence; sauciness; (7) (See 生ビール) (abbr) unpasteurized beer; draft beer; draught beer; (pref) (8) partially; somewhat; half-; semi-; (P)

or this:
生 XXX ( なま XXX) this is hard. It got tons of meanings: nama tv is live, not prerecorded. Nama beer is poured straight from the bottle, not like a fancy mixed drink. Nama information is first hand. Nama meat is raw.

And they make no sense to me either.!

Btw I love your comments about the BL subtext XD....The thing is he is literally talking about a bunch of dudes or geeks getting together. Not like that steel mill with only dudes in The Simpsons. :D

Hello.

ダチ (dachi) is a colloquial expression of "tomodachi".

ダチと生でおしゃべりする=to chat with friends directly, not via internet, or telephone.

sorry bad English ><

Snort! You think it's a dating site or something, huh.

Shiomi:大抵、野郎ばっかだよ
  • 大抵【たいてい】usually; generally
  • 野郎【やろう】this is weird, translated like rascal but Kanjidamage says that is like the word nigger: "Like the American equivalent, やろう can be a term of
camaraderie or a big insult, depending on how well you know the rapper"
  • ばっかだよ: nothing but
Probably: Usually,it's nothing but pals.

野郎 can just mean guys. I mean, yes, informal even pejorative, but still... guys. A woman can't be a 野郎. So again emphasizing the lack of women.
Usually, it's just a bunch of guys.

Oh... that kind of group. Why do you go though there aren't even any girls/women? (here も translates to even, implying that there's something else missing. A prime example of why more exposure to the language is crucial for you before translating. Or see this page on Tae Kim's site

Shiomi: お前 無表情なくせに全部顔に出るよな

You're on track with this one. Except that よな is sort of emphatic, but the な is kind of seeking agreement... I think trying to translate word for word will get you into trouble here. Basically this is a phrase indicating that the speak expects the listener to agree.

And also , the first な in this sentence is not an ending. Read this.

So I have been translating some things from manga here and I wanted your help with some troublesome (red) areas. And if you feel like it, even with those that seemed easier (I might have lots of mistakes without noticing it)

1. I'm having problems with the use of that word in red, when I look for it in dictionaries it says it means purveyor.
Tsuneo: ここの顧客? 芥さんが
Akuta-san is a client here?
Sakata: そう 芥 且己先生ご用達ホラ
that’s right Akuta Masaki-sensei’s bussiness, look!
2. I know I posted this one before, but then I found another troublesome sentence further and I want to know if they are actually connected like this:
Sakata: こいつ芥さんの弟子になりたいくらい憧れてんだって 話きいてやって?
This guy admires you to the point of wanting to become your follower so, can you just listen to what he wants to say?
Akuta: おれが人と一緒に働くの大嫌いなの知ってんでしょ つか佐方さんが言うのはズルくない? (弟子とかアリエネー)
You know I hate working with others right?so, isn’t sneaky of him to ask you to do that? (getting an apprentice or whatever impossible)
Sakata: おれ頼まれて言ったん じゃないからねー
But I didn’t say that I was asked to do that.
Later on...
Sakata: な あいつにはソウイウコトとか言わないでいてやってくれよな あと本とにクチきーてくれとか言われてねーから
hey don’t go around saying those things to him. And he really didn’t ask me to talk to you[And I really wasn't asked by him to talk to you]
3. I'm at a loss here, I hope I can figure more about this reading on but I'm not sure:
Sakata: 自分がホモだかれって皆ホモにすんのやめてくんない? あいつにだけは嫌われたくないだけ!
Can’t you stop making everyone into a homo just because you are one? I just don’t want to be hated by him
Akuta: ナニソレ?
What’s that?
Sakata: おれの後ばっかつい てきてた姿が忘 れられねぇのさあんたの言うような意味じゃないよ
I wouldn’t forget about you following nothing but me you know? what you are saying doesn’t make sense
Sakata: いいかっこしてぇんだ (ふ)
???
Thanks for taking the trouble~

does it look more sense to you??

Tsuneo: ここの顧客? 芥さんが
The client here ??....Akuta is....
Sakata: そう 芥 且己先生ご用達ホラ
that’s right Akuta Masaki-sensei is working on it, look!

Akuta:つか佐方さんが言うのはズルくない?
by the way,it seems to be unfair isn't it?(apprentice?? no way!! )

Sakata: おれ頼まれて言ったん じゃないからねー
Its not like I am ask by someone to do that for you....(almost same with your translation anyway)

Sakata:...... あと本とにクチきーてくれとか言われてねーから
and he didn't ask me to come to my house or something.( I dunno the whole story, only those who read the whole manga would know what happen )

Sakata: おれの後ばっかつい てきてた姿が忘 れられねぇのさあんたの言うような意味じゃないよ
Don't think that I don't notice that You always following on me. Don't be misunderstood(apparently there is a hidden meaning in this sentence)
Sakata: いいかっこしてぇんだ (ふ)
stop showing off huh
