| Baltzar aided Basselland in the civil war because he was promised lands and wealth. Now that the monarchy and nobility have been abolished, that won't be happening. Baltzar doesn't really have a reason to stick around when the going gets tough. I'm guessing Rudolf will once again try to recruit Baltzar into joining Erzeich. He's already made a great impression on them and they'd offer him goodies to go over to their side, and Baltzar is currently at risk of being eliminated by Weissen so he has little reason to stick around there for much longer. |
