You have good sense when drop the show because mha is going only worse and worse from season 2 even considering that S2 was mid AF. It is not worth picking it back up but if you want to see this car crash on your own then... have a "GOOD" time.

Stain arc is peak in mha and that's in season 2, so don't pick it up it only gets worse.

season 2 and 3 are the best so far so if you didnt enjoy those then probably dont but if season 6 gets animated and adapted well then that’ll definitely be the best season so you might want to pick it back up then when the time comes. but if you have better things to watch rn then go ahead and watch those

I only finished S1 yesterday and thought it was fine. I started S2 today and have been enjoying it thoroughly. Though, you stopped at a point further than where I am so my input doesn’t really help.

Well, it's apparently gonna get way better much later on if you wanna stick around for whenever that will be lol. 4th season was when it really dropped the ball for me and some others, and the 5th seems to have been recieved even worse. I'd try the 4th and if you ain't feeling it, move on.

No it’s peaked with MVA and people swear that the recent war arc was good but for anime standards with war arcs it’s was alright. It’s up to you but coming from someone that keeps up with it it’s just not worth it

If you are going to get back into it just read the manga the anime got really bad during season 3 and seasons 4 and 5 are not good

nah dont i watched all the way into season 4 and it was the literal definition of mid. Nothing interesting happens and all the characters are soo boring. I did hear some good things from the manga that might happen later, I might decide to pick it back up when that happens…

I still think it is a good show, but the anime has peaked in season 2 so far imo. Season 4 and 5 aren't the worst anime ever but aren't the best either. Maybe try watching season 4 and if you don't like it, just drop it, although s6 if they do it right will be great. Your chose though.

Man I think back to Todoroki vs Deku in S2, that was peak. It could be my favourite animated fight. The goosebumps at the time were crazy.

Season 4 is one of my favorite seasons esp the big fight so It's definetly worth it. I do recommend to rewatch the 3 seasons before it or at least to skim through the manga to jog your memory on things you've probaby forgotten by now. that'd be up to chapter 124 but skimming doesn't mean you'll have to read it intently.
Read the newest season (5) in manga because they left out a big amount , cut up the story so that it's less engaging/impactfull and censored it a lot.
The animation is particularly bad mostly looking like storyboard in certain arcs and inbetween (they are exclusively fixing that in the blueray which is always overpriced because jp really likes them. We also don't know if they're completely overhauling the animation or just some parts yet.)
start with chapter 191 after you've finished season 4 to get a good connection to the characters and even get what'll be going the next season without a certain quantity of apathy or at least less than anyone who's read the manga. I also at this point don't really trust the studio to deliver the next season... so I'd just wait till it's all out, look for feedback and then decide to watch it.
