another pointless thread, it will just be 90% of people saying the following 5 anime

- attack on titan
- death note
- guilty grown
- hunter x hunter
- original full metal alchemist

I generally don't like "let the viewers decide" endings at all.

HxH doesnt have an ending

Death note has the most impactful ending I've ever seen in an anime. As bad as the post 25 episodes might have been but the ending is fantastic. I really like light and rooted for him and loved what he did in episode 25 so what happened in the end hit me hard.

Aot ending while sad but is utterly nonsensical and underwhelming

So the answer is AoT.

Arcana Famiglia - It's been over 9 years since I saw this anime but I still somewhat remember how disappointing the end to this show was. and it's not even an example of good show being ruined by horrendous ending, it was extremely bland all the way through, but for the climax of the show I was at least expecting some action or conclusion, you get none of that.

and to this day it is still my lowest rated series

Usagi Drop, although I only read a few spoilers from the manga so I don't know all the details.

The last two episodes of Evangelion. I like the show in general, but that ending was very disappointing IMO.

I am also not a fan of those endings:
-Charlotte (Too rushed)
-Akatsuki no Yona (It didn't really felt like an ending)
-Children of the Whales (see Akatsuki no Yona)

If I remember correctly it was open ended with the added continued in manga. And I spoiled myself in a comment section specifically looking for the manga continuation. It was disappointing, but the series up to that point was good, so the lack of ending wasn't that bad if I remember correctly.

I'm still salty about Digimon Adventure 02. Not even Shihalyfie's very well-written and in-depth meta posts could change my mind, even though it made me appreciate the rest of the series.

I'm sorry but there's just no way you can convince me every human being on Earth suddenly getting a pet battle kaiju would not be abused in any way, shape, or form.
