Mine was black butler. I was so obsessed with the show a few years ago but over time I started to recognize the flaws. Nevertheless, I still have a soft spot for the show but I probably won't get the same enjoyment from re-watch.

Of course, Noir still has beautifully drawn scenes and an incredible mood. Of course, hopelessly outdated, but I still love it.

Nagagutsu wo Haita Neko (1969) - I still think it has some interesting animated scenes on complex backgrounds in its climax.

Mine was Kimi no na wa

After watching a lot more anime, I realize that the narrative isn't that great, but I actually enjoyed it more the second time watching it as I was also able to appreciate the animation more

It's been almost 9-10 years since I watched my first anime - Lost Universe - so I can barely remember a thing from it now. The one thing I do frequently go back to however, is its OP. I love it.

The first anime I watched was Pokemon, when i was like 6-7 years old, and at that time, I was in love with it, but now I'm not really the biggest fan. Though i still like some of the series.

It's still disgusting when I try to remember that Yosuga no Sora was my first.
But I'm still happy, after all I stopped watching 4 eps.
I don't have to go thro those disgusting pains.

The first anime I watched was old dubbed reruns of Ikkyuu-san on TV as an infant. I cannot, for the life of me, remember what it was about so I can't say if I still like it.

I remember watching Doraemon dubs as a toddler though. Of course, I've outgrown it now but I'd say I look back on it pretty fondly. It was always entertaining to see the silly contraptions Doraemon pulled out of his pouch.

Nostalgia is a thing that happens a lot when you get older lol so I still have a fondness for the first few anime that I watched even if I can admit that they have many flaws because they make me feel all nostalgic.

Technically the first anime I watched was Megaman NT Warrior, or "Rockman.exe" as I now know it. And no, tried rewatching it later on, and I vastly prefer the Battle Network games over the anime.

Now the first anime I watched and completed when I actually knew what "anime" was is the original Fullmetal Alchemist, and that I still have a soft spot for, eventhough it's no longer in my top 10 favorites.

Since I can't remember, I'll make a wild guess that the first anime I genuinely took interest in was Naruto, and no I don't like it as much now. But I'd still sit through any episode, especially filler.

Death Note is still quite good, at least the first part, I wouldn't re-watch, but I still like it.

Excluding the ones I watched when I was a kid

I can't remember which one I first watched.
Might be Ranma½, Conan, Rockman.EXE, Inazuma Eleven, Idaten Jump or Dinosaur King. Oh.. and also Pokemon too.
(That's all I remember that I watched back in primary school but I positive that it's "Inazuma" and "Rockman.EXE" both. Still loves it and will always loves it.)

I still remember that SAO brought me back to watch anime again while I'm in highschool.

No Game No Life is still pretty cool, but on the other hand the first anime I really loved, Nanatsu no Taizai is somewhat poor to me right now

My first anime was Sailor Moon. While I do still like it, I don't love it nearly as much as I did when I was younger. For the most part, I've grown out of it and have moved on. It does still hold a special place in my heart, but watching it doesn't do much for me. My daughter enjoys it, though, and I like watching it with her.
