Season 2?

I’m planning to watch this and am just wondering if the season had a conclusive ending or if it was left open-ended for the possibility of a new season. I see that the light novel is still ongoing and am not a fan of watching shows that aren’t completely done lol

I haven't read the LN, but it feels done, they concluded everything, but the LN is still ongoing. Maybe they did an AOE, can someone confirm?

Personally I think they will because they left it on a cliff hanger and the rating is pretty high. I would love to see another season this show was amazing. It just depends if there is enough source material but we probably won’t get an announcement for a while as this show ended Just about 2 weeks ago.

I think it’s pretty conclusive and doesn’t need another season… Was a decent show, especially first half; the second part felt a bit rushed but still watchable.

The ending did not get completely closed. There is still a possibility for a second season. And there is probably no shortage of history either.

The ending of the anime is very satisfatory regarding if its the actual ending no clue.

Imo there is no need for season 2. It was perfectly fine complete story.

The story feels completed but at the same time.. it feels like it hinting that theres more to the story... Thou I wouldn't mind if there isn't one

I could be content and pleased with it being just one season, although it is also the type of series I could easily watch not just another, but many seasons to come of it without complaint. However, I would hope if there are one or more other new seasons, that they will choose to dedicate more of the focus of the plot to the absence of plot and just basking in the Slice of Life side of things.

As for how it ended and what intent that signaled, it didn't end on any real cliffhanger. It's the kind of show that easily could end then and there as major beats of the story were concluded, or choose to continue and just focus on another direction and other things. It isn't the kind which had some form of dramatic cliffhanger necessitating a continuation of the series (or receiving a lot of fan backlash/outrage if there isn't one forthcoming), but nor is it the kind of show and ending where it would seem unnatural or too pointless or forced if it did continue. They could choose to do either and it would basically be fine and make sense.

For me, if it continues, I'll definitely watch any season two and any future seasons to follow if there are any.

If it doesn't, I'm also fine with it and would be happy with it as just a one season series.

It can be a Special, OVA or even a movie. Just please not a TV series 2nd. This show does not deserve it.

nah. story wrapped up pretty nicely but maybe considering the light novels are still publishing and that there is definitely still more to the story and what the ending left off with

I really hope for a second season, this anime was just soooo wholesome. :(
