| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Finally the filler arc is over, hopefully we can get back to the storyline now :D I didn't expect someone else to finish off the Toujou but it sure is good to see all the Zanpakutō going up against it^^ can't believe Fuji Kujaku's ability didn't work against the enemy though. I guess it's the last time we get to see all the Zanpakutō in their respective forms. |

| I'm glad the fillers are over, but God, what a crumby ending lol. This episode just totally emphasized on the fact that if we had the start of the fillers to the end of the fillers, you could squeeze this ending anywhere in between now and the start and it wouldn't appear any different at all even for the filler's story -_-. At least the Bounto arc and other fillers were more interesting and story based. |

| Finally the fillers are over! Hurray! Next week is the Ichi vs Ulqui fight! About this episode: Not a bad ending to a filler arc. I'm going to miss some of the Zanpakuto especially the way they're designed. But the other sword fiends in this episode were so horribly designed. One looked like an Avatar but not a blue one and another was just a box with eyes. Totally scary :P |

| Its been nearly a year, too too long for a filler arc. Manga is really ahead of them so why was this shit happened? Anyways glad that everythings over with a "dramatic-wannabe" ending. | I liked this filler much more than previous ones, or at least the Muramasa part. Although it does illustrate the fact rather well that when Kubo can't think of a new plot device he introduces characters. En masse. Disappointing ending to the filler, though, overall. It was essentially a beefed-up monster-of-the-day and the idea that the Zanpakutou were loosing their reiatsu (and therefore ability to remain in humanoid form) was introduced right at the very end. Also rather lacking in captains :( I would've liked to see Hitsugaya, Byakuya, Ukitake and Kyouraku at least. Next week does look good though :D:D:D:D:D Can't wait for the showdown between Ichigo and Ulquiorra! |
