Kotori is such an inspiration for the younger kids. It seems every time the children sees her, they all become fangirls.

And Yuzu is so in love. It was obvious from the start but her actually confronting Kotori about it make it much more realistic.

Kotori-chan is here, and shes here to study the power of love. And who else than our main duo is the target of this study.

Music turly is, even in real life a way how to open someone's heart (just easy with that engrish ... ).

Kotori wants to learn what's love, but it's surprising to learn that Hikaru was sick before and he was actually the first that started to love music but couldn't play because of his sickness, so that's Kotori that kept learning it, they both sang at the end though it was really heartwarming, they did a good job.

The Shiratori twin siblings descended onto Tamahiko's house...and they're good guests whom Yuzu is more a fangirl of.

It feels ironic that Kotori, as good as she is in music, doesn't know an inch about love, so going to Yuzu and Tamahiko seems like the best choice. Where the manga got a little darker in tone, the anime traded that for Kotori being a troublemaker around the house, intentional or not. Ryo's bunch of kids are obvious fans of Kotori, so that's a given.

The problem is the twin brother Hakaru, which for some reason, always avoids his twin sister. Yuzu lending that of her "experience" in love and sharing it to Kotori, both it and music share the same feeling to create a inspirational love song...that still goes back to the relationship between the twin siblings.

Kinda of a sad backstory between Hakaru and Kotori, the brother being ailing sick from young and the sister having to take his course of interest. Look how that spawned out, and in many ways, Tamahiko is like Hakaru, taking the first step forward to accept the world around them.

It's just so soothing to hear Hakaru and Kotori's duet, and Kotori's new song as well. Kinda cute when Yuzu's still holding back her love for Tamahiko, and the latter pushing forward as well.

For once, the side characters can be episodic main characters too.

Kotori and Hikaru becoming close as they once were. Very sweet episode focusing on the twin siblings. Kotori worried about why Hikaru has drifted apart from her while Hikaru worried he'd been left behind since his illness sidelined him for years. Kotori had become such a successful singer he didn't feel a place beside her anymore. It was nice seeing Tamahiko and Yuzu work each sibling from their side. Tamahiko talking to Hikaru while at school and getting the full story while Yuzu did the same back at home while Kotori worked on her new song.

A song of love which makes perfect sense why she would want to observe the happy couple in their natural habitat. Very funny scenes with Kotori just staring at Tamahiko and Yuzu doing their normal home life things trying to get inspiration. Luckily things worked out with not only Kotori making a great new song and Hikaru realizing he can stand beside his successful sister but also Yuzu realizing she does really love Tamahiko. That bike scene being one of their best in the show thus far. Seems like Yuzu is going on a trip to Tokyo next episode, hope everything goes well.

I'm glad the tension between the Shiratori siblings got resolved. It did bug me that their relationship didn't seem to be at their peak.

Hakaru was bedridden for 7 years? What type of illness is that? I know this takes place in Taisho era and that's exactly why I want to know because any sort of illness like this could be life or death at that time period.

Looks like next episode Yuzuki will go visit her parents' house, glad we're reaching that arc. There will probably be less Tamahiko and I'm looking forward to seeing Yuzu's mom and friends.

So Hikaru was the one who first started music but he got sick and stopped and then kotori starts, that good that there found a solution.

That scene in the end was so wholesome.

Great episode! So Hakaru used to be the one who sung...
Seeing the duet between the twins was really nice and Yuzu flustered was also equally great!

Looking forward to the next episode!

Talk about "Trust" and "Promise"... Yeah, those really are some of the things that really need to "handle with extra care" once you gain it.

That's a good idea found by Tamahiko. Maybe Kotori can get to be an art (specifically music) Teacher for the moment, and JUST for a moment. Not that it bad, but maybe it's just not very good (because it might break the student's concentration when studying) looking back from how Kotori's first appearance in front of the student and how Tamahiko react. xD

At least now that we know about the siblings past. BUT now that Kotori had already become an Idol... I guess that already means that she can't do or say the typical "onii-chan, daisuki" anymore, right? At least not in front of her fans or Yuzu and Tamahiko. (Aarrgghh, poor Kotori and her burden as an Idol... >_<)

More of Tamahiko and Yuzu in love, but being watched by Kotori-chan sure was awkward for them

Hikaru finally opened up to his friend, and bonded again with Kotori through music and her lyrics, it was touching

Great episode as usual. Kotori is really something, so cute. To think that Hakaru was the one who sung at the start, fell ill and Kotori took over and became famous cause of it. I totally get Hakaru, that must have stung.. But glad to see at the end that he's keeping the past behind and moving on to pick singing back up. Maybe we get some more duets between the two of them.

I really loved the cycling scene at the end, was gorgeous!!

Preview looks good, Yuzu centered with her old friend(s)!!

The siblings' issue was resolved quicker than I expected. Glad that Hakaru got back into music. Perhaps they can do a few duets for now on. Tamahiko is getting more used to his school and making more friends.

Yuzu's going back home for a bit... is Tamahiko going to be okay?

Kotori hitting a wall and then say she's hit a wall in a figurative way was pretty funny lmao.

Great episode! Hakaru is a real bro for helping Tamahiko fit in with the class, the power of porn mags knows no bounds. Hakaru and Kotori's backstory was also really nice, not as tragic as the others, but it still hits different.

I'm gonna need a full version of Kotori's love song, cause that shit slapped. The ending scene with Tamahiko and Yuzu was really sweet, no need for I love you's, they'll be together forever. Though I do hope we get an I love you down the line. Yuzu's visiting her friend, looking forward to that.

Another great episode, I really love this anime, can't believe that there are only 3 episodes left. I guess they'll end it with the conclusion to the earthquake arc, there doesn't seem to be enough time to cover what happens with Yuzu, Tamahiko and the Shima family.

if we're talking real life wise. spanish flu was a thing in 1918, so it could be that tho that's like only 4 years from the timeline currently. but tbh its just a nice wholesome episode so far

The Shiratori siblings have a problem, they were separated for far too long, but in this episode, they finally connected with each other and hey they played a song together, pretty neat. But if they did not include the background strings on Kotori's new love song, then it would've been a damn perfect insert song for me, but I mean it's anime y'all. Now in regards to our main couple, well it's the same cute shit, and they vowed to be with each other forever, so that sealed the deal for this week. Nice episode we had, can't wait to see Yuzu's hangout with her friend.

Did anyone else feel that Kotori's love song sounds kind of Chinese? My wife listens to Chinese pop music and ballads regularly, and the melodies of this song reminds me a lot of the style of Chinese pop ballads.

I think he suffers from Plot Disease. It is a common ailment, caused by the bacterium Plotococcus conveniens.

Yuzu fangirling so hard with Kotori, She really excited and surprised that Kotori came to their home. It turns out Kotori need inspiration for her new song about romantic relationship and got suggested by her twin brother Hikaru upon seeing Tamahiko & Yuzu relationship. They also singing together with everyone.

Meanwhile Hikaru seems to had awkward tense with Kotori, it turns out that he was the one who started singing but because of his illness, he couldn't continue. Fortunately thanks to both Tamahiko & Yuzu they reconciled and be able to do their promises toward each other in the past to sing together. Afterward Kotori also sang her new song about love. The insert songs in this episode were really beautiful and soothing, good to hear that when depressed.

In the end after the concert, Tamahiko & Yuzu going home together in a bike. This scene was beautiful especially while they reaffirming their love with great visual of flower field in the sunset.
