 I cannot seem to quite understand what she is saying here. Can someone rephrase in layman's for me? |

| In the context of this episode, Chihaya was scared/nervous enough about watching Arata and Shinobu play that she nearly left to watch the Class C match instead. When Sakurazawa ran into her, she could sense Chihaya’s apprehension about going in to watch the Class A match. This line was her way of reassuring her that it was the right thing to do. Because Chihaya is choosing to take the path of a serious karuta player who wants to become the queen, there is no good reason for her to avoid watching a match like this. If she skipped it because of nerves or jealousy, then she’d be missing out on a chance for learning and growth. A player who has "chosen to take this path" should take every opportunity like this that they get. |

I thought she was just trying fill some kind of duty as a club member to be with her clubmates. But being nervous makes so much more sense. Thank you for explaining! |
