The scene with the village geezer talking to Zoro about him making the blade and how it finds a worthy wielder. And he his Shimotsuki! Ironic that Zoro was aquainted with the guy who left Wano! He is the one that created Enma and Wado Ichimonji! Enma has been testing Zoro. And Zoro knows that he needs to go all out! Now Zoro has finally 'awakened' greatly. Now the fight will get crazy. Queen talking to Sanji about Lunarians how they were called 'Gods'. How they were wiped out is something that Sanji needs to find out. |
| What a great chapter this was... The village named Shimotsuki zoro's hometown and wano's connection got more deeper in this chapter!! The foreshadowing was insane as always :D |
| Let's goo, we're eating good rn Zoro is finally realising the connection between Kozaburo and Kuina and maybe before the end of the arc he'll learn about Ushimaru ! I'm curious to see what is Ushimaru's connection with Kozaburo ngl, Zoro HAS to be Ushimaru's son, meaning that he's probably even more closely related to Kuina than just sword companions. |

| I almost spat whatever was in my mouth when I read the title “Shimotsuki Kozaboro”, you know it's gonna be good. Looks like Mr. Morj was right on this one. Finally, a Zoro chapter looks like he started to ask questions, the part where he knocked those underlings without even making a big fuss about it was so badass. |
| Just let the haki flow. This chapter was just wow. Finally the Zoro development that was desperately needed. Confirmations aside, what I loved the most is how Zoro's relationship with Luffy has progressed over the course of the story. Initially he joined him because he didn't have much of a choice. That didn't mean that he lacked in loyalty. He looked out for his captain ever since. He kept him on track when necessary. After his loss to Mihawk he made his promise and was the first one to refer to Luffy as Pirate King. In Thriller Bark he went even as far prioritizing the dream of his captain over his own. So although Zoro is also the guy who keeps making things worse at times, as their synergy is like fire + wind, they got each others back. Their dynamic is adorable with occasionally some friendly competitiveness. Looking back at the beginning of Wano, it's great how this arc kicked off with the reunion of these two. |

| Damn, this chapter was even more amazing than Sanjis. This arc just went up to a very solid 9. If Kaidos flashback delivers this will be one of my favourites for sure. |

Zoro finally reveal his past, it's no coincidence. time to show who's the boss. damn this arc really boost all of straw hat crew power, I think it's because they're all being prepared to take on the next challenge after this arc. |
| The connection between Zoro's village and Wano has finally been established. We also got a little more info about King's race, but I feel like more details about that, and especially about how they got wiped out, won't be revealed for a while (hopefully that info comes sooner though). Now that Zoro seems to have figured out how to tame Enma, this battle should shift in his favor. |

| @Ayu_01 wano have Negatives but still you can't deny that wano have soo many charater development of different characters and mainly for the straw hats that.... it gives me nostalgia and it feels like we are reading pre time skip when straw hat are together and fight there respective battle, whereas luffy defeats the main opponent. And I don't think that queen is week, because he(sanji) hits queen with hell's memories and even after that queen is still up and standing like nothing happened. Don't forget that he's a cyborg, so he have some deadly attacks that we don't know about!! Ohh!! You are talking about these panels.   My favorite panel of zoro in onigashima raid so far is, him attacking King with Shishi sonson, oda's art is keep getting better and better:) That's not a theory, kozaburo himself said "I named the Blade after Lord of the under world", and enma is the king/lord of the underworld in Thailand and Indonesia mythology. So it's just an oda thing. I think oda is going make luffy vs kaido battle much much better than any other fight because you know oda love luffy the most. btw wano climax is going to be more crazier than we think!! Edit:- Kozaburo looks like wado ichimonji(oda draws in SBS, how zoros swords look like if they were alive)  |

EDIT: i think captain AND best friend refers to luffy. |

| I just want to mention that this is the second time "Shishi Sonson" doesn´t oneshot an enemy (the panel was great btw). So, now that Zoro awakened his conqueror´s haki, I wonder if Sanji will do the same, considering he would probably face a Yonko alongside Luffy and Zoro at some point. His oldest friend is Kuina, not Luffy or Sanji. |

Reading the scans confirmed it for myself since there was no flashback panel of Kuina either. Oda is usually not that ambiguous. Haven't read the official scans yet. Did Zoro say promises (plural would speak for Kuina) and best friend after captain? Was there a pause(...) after captain? Btw, what do you think of Haoshoku for King? |
