In the beginning, this remake was pretty mediocre. Everything felt rushed and every episode felt like a laboured watch but man did this take a turn for the AWESOME!! It straight up went from being average at best to a mind-blowing masterpiece since episode 26. The recent Osorezan arc just blew me away. I am super glad I didn't drop this anime.

Well, it's the Brotherhood treatment all over again. The only difference is that the original FMA diverged quite fast from the manga and the remake skipped a lot of sidestories to get to the meat. This remake kept as much as possible at the cost of being extremely rushed in the first third or so. But indeed, as you point out, it is starting to become good as the pace slows down.

More like waiting until it got good but yeah lol, I watched the original and then skipped to where the remake diverged from the manga
