Im pretty sure that was tetia who found him xD

That panel with ininia and coustas was so badass, seems like he will become a witch too?!

Damn, can't wait for the continuation of this.

this whole discussion about forbidden magic is what is best in this work, and I'm glad they're emphasizing it. Both sides have their points. I'm dying to know what the conclusion will be.

Yeah, everything is so well established that I can only applaud๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
Coustas had more than reasons to join the other side. This manga is an absolute MARVEL and has the potential to be a long story.

ithout even knowing how to help myself, I'm supposed to just wait for someone to come help me?"

As expected I really like this child.
I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something.

People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English.

This volume was remarkable. I don't know how Coco will get out of this problem. Apparently Coustas' suppressed hatred of superiority is rebelling. Past events are already serving as a reference to shape a dilemma. I don't think Tongari Boushi no Atelier is a pessimistic work. Magic can get people into trouble, just as not discovering magic is considered a limitation. More than negativism, it is a blow of conscience. I remember Easthies once said: "a child without education does not find freedom, he finds chaos."

It's not a pessimistic work, but it isn't quite optimistic either.
The last chapters have taken a turn for the dark side, with memories of sexual abuse, lies, deception and betrayal.
But it's what makes it such an excellent work.

I agree with the comments above, you can't just make a work this good by just focusing on the bright side all the time. Dark topics require their elaboration and view and having Coustas question this whole ordeal I can see where he's coming from.

You can also see the fear and resentment on Tartar and Coco's faces. To believe that in the beginning we were so far off this kind of situations yet here we are. Now I'm thrilled to see what they'll have to do to please Ininia.

So much has happened in this volume. I'm worried for Coco of course but it seems like it's been setting things up to tempt her to the dark side... you can see her wrestling with that here. I also wonder if we'll catch up to what Qifrey has done.

Coustas paralyzed himself by stupidly hopping into the water when told not to earlier. He was helped and was given an opportunity to have mobility again, but wasn't grateful enough and this is how he treats them. And to add he's become disgustingly cocky for someone worth nothing. Both sides have their points but for someone who grew up in the slums and saw others more fortunate then him I thought he of all people would understand rules. I'm genuinely hoping this arc ends with his memories being removed and him permanently spending the rest of his days suffering in a hospital bed.

"Someone worth nothing" "understand rule"... Sounds like what a bootlicker would say.
The whole story's premise and conflict is that a selected few taking away knowledge and memories from all of humanity, monopolising the greatest power know to mankind. And getting paid taxes while doing so lol...Anyone would be angry once they learn that truth.

Quite an emotional chapter so far. Seeing Coustas made me really feel like they shouldn't care about this boy.
