 TOHO animation opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Tatsuya Endou's Spy x Family manga on Monday, revealing the main staff, lead cast, two teaser visuals (pictured), and first promotional video. For his latest mission, he must investigate Ostanian politician Donovan Desmond by infiltrating his son's school: the prestigious Eden Academy. Thus, the agent faces the most difficult task of his career: get married, have a child, and play family. Twilight, or "Loid Forger," quickly adopts the unassuming orphan Anya to play the role of a six-year-old daughter and prospective Eden Academy student. For a wife, he comes across Yor Briar, an absent-minded office worker who needs a pretend partner of her own to impress her friends. However, Loid is not the only one with a hidden nature. Yor moonlights as the lethal assassin "Thorn Princess." For her, marrying Loid creates the perfect cover. Shueisha will publish the eighth volume on Thursday. Spy x Family has a cumulative 11 million copies of its volumes in circulation.VIZ Media began publishing the manga in English on its new Shounen Jump platform in September 2019 and released the sixth volume on October 5. The seventh volume is planned for an April 5 release next year. Shueisha's Manga Plus service also began simulpublishing the manga in English in March 2019. So this is what he's doing right after his stints in MAPPA and recent episode work in Sunrise. I'm more than hyped. This alone instills confidence. Expect solid dynamic storyboards and strong direction all throughout. All that's left to be known is on who will be the series composer. This alone will dictate the quality of the script and pacing. I hope it turns out as someone whose on the same level as Hiroshi Seko or Yasuko Kobayashi. |

| PV looks great, voice acting was really on point. 2022 is going to have a lot of big sequels and new adaptions hopefully some under the radar and originals come out like this year that are good. If so we might be getting a highlight year. |
