What did you think of Dune?
| If so, what did you think? I personally loved it, but I haven't seen the other adaptations or read the book. Easily the best looking sci-fi movie I've watched in recent years though. |

| Yes I loved it! Seen it twice and I'm planning to see it in imax when it's released in december. However, I do wish that the Aside from that, I thought everything was great - it was visually spectacular and I'm really looking forward to the sequel! Kinda sad we have to wait like two or three years for the sequel though.. |

| The movie was made with a sequel in mind so it felt incomplete. Side characters appeared and went, not allowing for character development and significant back stories where lightly touched upon or skipped. Understandable as everything from the book cannot be fit into the time constraints of a movie. Artistically, the cinematography was flawless, every scene was eye candy which was surprising as the movie takes place on a boring desert landscape. The music score by the legendary Hans Zimmer made the experience magical. The movie ends on a cliff hanger/climax but the main character's motivations and goals where well defined; his upcoming revenge arc seems exciting, making me excited for part 2. 8/10 |
