Not a lot of people know that record companies that release anime Ops and EDs actually contribute a lot of funding to anime budgets to promote artists and albums. That's why most Ops are just generic Jpop that sometimes doesn't fit the vibe of the anime at all.

Anime openings are like ultra cool AMVs with amazing music put at the beginning of each episode. I never skip most openings unless they’re just generic with bad music. But that’s the thing, the overwhelming majority tend to be fantastic; they’re created to hype you up and they have become part of the experience when it comes to this medium. To ask that this incredibly crucial part be removed just because “it sucks that you have to work so hard to skip it” is kind of ridiculous. I never understood the crowd that skipped anime endings and openings. Do you even like anime? How can you not rush to add every opening to your playlist when you start new anime? How can you be so apathetic to the wonderful animation?
