 A television anime adaptation of Yuu Shimizu's Seiken Gakuin no Makentsukai (The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy) light novel was announced by Kadokawa on Thursday. The company also posted an announcement promo, featuring voice actress Saki Miyashita (Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru.).  SynopsisBattles for ancient kingdoms are nothing compared to the battles of a classroom! Awakening from magical stasis after a thousand years, the Dark Lord Leonis suddenly finds himself in the body of a ten-year-old boy! He quickly meets Riselia, a girl confronting the Voids, creatures that have nearly exterminated humanity. Determined to uncover the mysteries of this strange new era, Leonis enrolls in Excalibur Academy, a school that trains students to fight back against these enigmatic monsters. Could the Voids hold some connection to Leonis's past? (Source: Yen Press) Shimizu launched the action fantasy light novel with illustrations by Asagi Toosaka (Girly Air Force) in May 2019, two months after concluding Seireitsukai no Blade Dance (Blade Dance of the Elementalers). Kadokawa publishes the light novel under its MF Bunko J imprint and released the seventh volume on May 25, with the eighth volume shipping on October 25. Asuka Keigen began serializing a manga adaptation in Monthly Shounen Ace magazine in November 2019. The fourth volume is planned for an October 26 release. | this is like going back to 2011 when these types of stories were booming at least int the isekais you could see other stories than just harem battles, like gender bender (youjo senki), female mc(kuma bear), slice of life or reverse harems (otome game) PS: I also add stories where the protagonist is not human but a slime or a spider, while here is the same generic teenager as always. |

| I only found out that this was made by the same author of Seireitsukai no Blade Dance. Why did its anime never had a sequel anyway? Its anime adaptation was just like a prologue of what's to come in the next arc in the LN and the true battles were about to get more intense. That LN has also finished at volume 20 so there should be enough material to adapt it until the end. I heard Siesta's voice, lol. I assume she'll be voicing the main heroine? Also, I miss these magic school battle harem fantasy anime. Kinda nostalgic at this point. :p |

Seriously, most of them didn't get more than a one season and few people still talk about these. And now think about which isekai animes have been stand out over time? Re: zero, shield hero, konosuba, Overlord, youjo senki, no game no life, mushoku. I'm not saying that I like them, but their fame is undeniable and they put more interesting concepts and they are not just harem with action. Besides, who are you to say that the slice of life is crap? |

I clearly said isekai has more Varity and Better scope than Magical School battle, also when i said Sol crap i meant sol isekais aka slow life bs not Sol genre as whole because they are crap for 99% part case in point every major isekai that made a mark are non sol isekai and on top of that every major slice of life i can think off is not from isekai as well rather they are set in real world. |

Dude before butting in try reading comments cause other dude did the same mistake as you we never argued about anything we both said similer things expect he misread my post and then reply me without rechecking. We both know both genre trash because they are ultimately gulity pleasure but isekai gave us good stuff time to time every once in a while there is no denying that albert actual good stuff can be counted in one finger. As for personally I do not give two fuck about who thinks its trash or who thinks its not i personally love both and will continue to watch as long as japan keep making it |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
