| The guy is meant to be cringy. The series is about comedy. Gags are everywhere. Just like Yoshino (Aho Girl) is dumb AF. It’s meant to be funny. Just like Naoya (Kanojo mo Kanojo) is an exaggerated character. It’s meant to be funny. Same author, 3 times. I think you are mixing bad personality with bad character. It depends on what was the author’s intention to make the story more entertaining. |

| I don't see why he is a bad character... Even his traits aren't all that bad. Despite his perverted mind he still does his best to help the girls when they need him, to attempt to their desires (job and personal life related), in the end, he's just a kind hearth guy... A pervert, yes, but with a kind heart. I cannot see him as a bad character at all... Yes, he's a simple character, but it has his traits and the story doesn't need more of him (or of any character to be honest). So yeh! He kinda is a good character for this type of story, and it is a better character than many of those in shounen animes. |
| For the ones that like to bother others (like me) with "you should read the manga/LN", please stop. I don't read mangas, I will NOT read mangas, I will not listen to what manga readers complain in adaptation to the anime counterpart, I only watch anime except in very few and specific situations. |
