| It'll go down. I remember Re:Zero having an even higher score than Mushoku Tensei back when its latest season was airing, think I saw it peak at like 8.71. But that's also why I don't trust the score of sequels. Cause sequel inflation just makes the score shoot through the roof. |

| I think you are celebrating a bit too early. Its not going to take much time before the scores go down as the episodes keep airing and more non fans watch it. |

I wouldn’t be surprised if it stayed as the isekai with the highest score though; the first season has almost the same score as re:zero season 2, after all. I think it all depends on how the story plays out |

But there are two sides to this coin. The other side are similar people who just rate everything 10/10. I literally saw people giving MT 10/10 as soon as you could rate the show, i.e they hadn't even seen the very first episode yet. I even saw reviews when the first episode was released that stated that they hadn't watched it yet but they enjoyed the LN and thus they gave the anime a 10/10. Or some that just said "It was an okay first episode 10/10". Both sides are vocal and dumb. It's best to look at both instead of just one side. Both of those people sort of cancel each other out. People who overrate and people who underrate. |

| MAL Scores goes down every month, it maybe higher than Re:Zero for now but that won't be take long realistically speaking. If you want example Re:Zero had 8.8 rating while it aired. |

Do not know what you talking about. 1) It is not the highest rated isekai yet as the sequel has not finished airing and the score will go down as was the case for re zero 2) I may love re:zero more but I very much love this one as well so i have no problem it be higher rated. |

I remember how ReZero s2's production value turned out immensely disappointing compared to s1 due to the pandemic, hence why that also really dropped a lot imho. Mushoku Tensei likely won't suffer such a fate as of right now, but of course many people are easily triggered by "degeneracy" nowadays due to the stubbornness to hold onto some convoluted moral compass, so yea the score for this will still down quite a bit, more likely than not. |
