Honestly, I don't really mind in this case. It moreso bothers me when the CGI visibly effects the animation of the main characters. I think this anime actually gets a pass on the bad CGI thing

When I watched this I don't think I noticed I was just kinda vybing.. did enjoy.. but it's not very good overall.. but I still knew what I was getting into nd I'm excited for the next season

Yeah the CGI was shocking but I just sucked it up and delt with it. The story is very good and that's all I care about being honest

The CGI hurt my eyes,it look like something made by the creator of ex-arm after 1-2 week of learning how to make CGI,it felt like a whole diffrent anime mashed in to this

The problem is both CGI and the adaptation the cgi was never important because of which they cut tones of story.

No, i thought the CGI was just fine, and this is one of my favorite series ever. I think people are just acting like spoiled children these days; i grew up watching 3D animation go from claymation to polygonal to cel-shaded over the last 35 years, so i believe that a lot of you have no idea what REALLY "bad" CGI actually is. If you did, then you wouldn't have this big of a problem with the CGI used in modern anime, but that's just my worthless opinion ;)

The CGI was so unbelievably disgustingly bad. The anime would probably be a 7 or mid 7 on average even with good CGI because it has a unique MC.

I think if the animation of the 2nd season will be better this anime can enter the competitive scene. If they will fix the CGI stuff this is actually good. The story is not that unique but the this is an action anime so I think they should focus on the animation more.

I wanted to hate this show. The MC is just refreshing. Says what you think he would say in the situation, and is a good guy without the simping. Hate everything else, almost. Just gave this an 8. Sometimes we need to truly curb our bias, to enjoy something. Frames are lacking, CGI is just pieces moving around the screen,fan service, but God I love he's not trembling everytime around a women, or talking in his head for 5 mins stuttering.

Some cgi are poorly done but studios that know how to do cgi well make their works look great

I mean, it was bad, but I wouldn’t say it’s Berserk levels of bad. I agree with the person that said that it’s way more jarring when characters are poorly animated in CGI than elements like monsters.

Like usual, those CGI models for monsters was usually very bad idea since they didn't really blend well with overall 2d models on characters and enviroment setting. It feel like they're out of place

But i do appreciated it's usage on MC weapon/gun animation tho. They're weirdly feels natural and somewhat beautiful btw.
