It feels like it would depend on your personal preference. The sexual elements not exactly explicit (as in, you won't see nudity or sexual intercourse, but there is a lot of touching involved [with clothes on]), but it still seems like that's as much as the focus as the mystery/horror.

I've read most of the manga, and I would say that this is more similar to something like Hakkenden or Devils and Realist than it is to your average BL. There's a lot of suggestion and innuendo, but the story is focused on the supernatural events and unraveling the mystery of the people involved.

It probably comes down to why you dislike BL. If you dislike homoeroticism in general or if you have a low tolerance for the arrogant seme/accommodating uke dynamic, this might not work for you, even though the focus is on the mystery and there isn't really an overtly romantic relationship happening.

The history of horror is tinged with homoeroticism and queer subtext (look into it, it's fascinating). If anything, the BL elements are gonna add to your overall enjoyment. Even if you feel uncomfortable with "male bonding", the whole point of horror is make you uncomfortable (you know, if the ghosts and corpses don't do enough for you lmao...). I really enjoyed the manga, so I hope the anime does it justice.

I don't know if I like this pacing.
They didn't focus on his relation, they didn't focus on his powers, I didn't like the "feels so good", I didn't feel the "mystery" part

But it's still first episode, let's see what happens.

I think you would be able to, it is barely Shounen Ai, pretty much all there is, is some touching and holding...it's only because of their powers lmao. I am caught up with the translation and so far they haven't even kissed, it's like 47 chapters in...though I can't say what happens later in the series. The cast isn't all dudes either, Erika is a really interesting character in the series.
