Expect season 2 ??

April 2022 or Summer 2022 are the two best bets, though I’m thinking April as most 2 cour anime usually skip a season like Slime or Jobless Reincarnation did.

I guess on Winter 2023. They just started the production. I really dont know how long an anime takes for production, but i saw a documentary where the ceo of an anime studio explained that pre production of anime takes atleast 6 months for 12 episode series. Then they take few months for post production. so going by that, i think they'll take that long for this anime and when there is a slot for them to air it. it will come around that time in my opinion. Ofcourse, i want to watch it at earliest too. but I'm not expecting it any time soon

Where did it say production just started ?? Not saying you wrong but I haven’t seen it anywhere

And usually when they announce a sequel that quick that means they have already been in production

Probably Fall or Winter 2022, if I had to guess. I won’t expect anything because I would hate if it were rushed

Agree. If this is a split cour season (which I hope it is) I’m betting that season 2 will start airing Spring 2023 with the 2nd part coming out fall 2023, but wtf do I know lol

i doubt it will be as early as Winter 2022/23... probably in the Fall of '23 is when i would expect any news to pop up.

Spring of '23 has arrived and still not even a shred of news. if studio C2C keeps this contract/franchise it most probably won't happen till Winter '23/24. C2C is releasing shows faster since Moonlit Fantasy came out in Summer 21. 'PuraOra! PRIDE OF ORANGE' Fall '21. 'Reincarnated as a Sword' Fall '22. ' Handyman Saitou in Another World' Winter '22/23. 'Otaku Elf' right now in Spring '23. then 'Shangri-La Frontier' is scheduled for Fall '23.

so if we don't hear any news by the end of Summer '23... i doubt 'Moonlit Fantasy' S2 will show up in 2023 at all.
