| THIS IS A LIGHT NOVEL ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS VOLUME. ---------------------------------------- You know, there's nothing better than completing the first part of Mondaiji returning to its original purpose with a fun Gift Game, lots of explanation, and even more character development. Mikado Tokuteru (御門釈天) One of the most powerful people in Little Garden, the one who saved Kuro Usagi by transferring his powers in volume 10 has finally appeared. And like Kuro Usagi, he couldn't be taken seriously. He's a hooker, trying to use a fake name when it's pretty obvious that he's the famous God of War, God of Lightning, etc. Even so, he's the reason we got answers. For example about Last Embryo and their “Origin” (not the best term). Azi Dahakan and Dystopia are supposed to be related to eschatology. According to Taishakuten (Indra) each of them is one side of the same coin. According to Izayoi's theory that Azi is related to the NBCR weapon, but this is not strong enough to even "Destroy" the sun (Izayoi's Prologue in volume 1). So the only option left was a third kind of perpetual motion machine (?) (The Perpetual Motion Machine of The Third Kind) (“Creating energy out of nothing”). There was also the question of Izayoi's real name. His surname is Saigou. His parents were always dead, no matter what world they were in. As a result Izayoi always had to live alone and allow Canaria to meet him. The problem is, his parents were able to create a perpetual motion machine and as a result they ended up in death (Due to some countries/organizations wanting this power). And their final gift to Izayoi was, to use Izayoi's own body to become the "Container" of this machine. Nanomachines, 3S, nano machine units. Izayoi's Gift : [Unknown] Izayoi Sakamaki (Izayoi Saigou) His real family name is Saigou. Was destined to be a hero on the side of humans, while Highness was a hero on the side of God. He can save the world in two different ways. Indirectly created The Perpetual Motion Machine of The Third Kind. By directly becoming the subject of The Perpetual Motion Machine of The Third Kind. The former may point to the future of Yo (dystopia). Others mean he's already completed the engine in his own body (which explains why End Emptiness (A.K.A one of the Last Embryos) "escaped" in the Coppelia side story). Also boundless energy was one of the reasons why these two Last Embryos were so powerful. Oh, that's right, now the reason why Izayoi cried at the end of volume 11. Izayoi was destined to be a hero. And heroes always win important battles. So Izayoi was destined to win against Azi. The reason Izayoi was crying was because he was ashamed of himself, after all he was the only one who would survive with a 100% chance in that fight. Also he somehow “knows” when the fight is going on. So if you remember Azi's last words you can imagine how much this affected Izayoi. Izayoi didn't have to win in a fair way, but he had Kuro Usagi's spear and even Authority Highness (protection) which made things “Easy” for him. That's why during this volume Izayoi couldn't be himself. By the way, for those who haven't read it, this is Azi Dahaka's conversation with Izayoi at the end of the volume. Aziz: "Don't be shy. If you don't know anything, learn this. This trembling is called fear." Izayoi: “N-No!” Aziz: "No. And don't forget. You move forward even trembling with fear. This is called courage." Izayoi: "No!" Tashakut, Mikado Tokuteru asked Izayoi if he wanted anything because of his victory over Azi and he said he wanted nothing. Until he remembers about Gry's wings and asks Mikado to give him new wings. Then when he was alone with Mikado, he asked about the power scale in Little Garden. 1-digit existence is not even related to “Win or lose”. They are like natural phenomena. There are only 17 existences (God? Community?) in 2-digits. Queen Halloween is on a different level in the 3-digits. (Izayoi's strength alone would put him at 4-digit, but he doesn't have the "Technique" like "Another Cosmology"). And in the end Izayoi asked if he could win against Azi himself. Mikado replied that he had to find this answer himself. Then we go to the last Gift Game Asuka and Faceless Asuka decides to go to another world to find the old “No Name” members. So she will leave the community for a while. And before that finally Faceless's identity is known. She is Asuka's dead twin brother, which was mentioned earlier (Is not mistaken in volume 2 or the episode during Asuka's flashback in the anime, maybe?) So basically, Faceless is a knight under Queen Halloween and Asuka has always had an affinity for Queen. itself. If he doesn't come to Little Garden, she will be the cause of something important in England (Halloween Place related). By the way, in the last Gift Game Faceless decided to duel against Asuka because this was one of the conditions that Queen Halloween gave him. Faceless also didn't have much time in Little Garden so the best option for him would be to kill Asuka otherwise Kudou Ayato (his real name) would never be “There”. Yo and No Name Jin has been missing since the Last Embryo battle. Asuka was about to leave the community. Y found out the reason Izayoi wasn't being himself from Kuro Usagi. Kuro Usagi also said that Izayoi would probably leave the community for a while to train himself. So Yo becomes the new leader of “No Name”. And also the fact that she was Koumei's daughter and she was strong enough to fight Izayoi head on. That's because, he provoked Izayoi to fight him in the final of the Gift Game while proclaiming that he is the new leader of “No-Name”. But Izayoi didn't listen because he was conversing with Mikado (laughs). (Yo accepts and becomes the new leader. And a few things about Ayesha). Demon King's New Alliance Jin/Pest, Highness, Rin, Demon King of Confusion have the goal of creating a new Demon King Alliance. Each of them has its own purpose. Highness (Avatar): Defeat Ouroboros. Demon King of Confusion wreaks havoc in Little Garden until his older brother (sister) Son Goku appears in front of him once again (getting revenge just like Highness). Rin aims to find his family…? Suzuka from the Canaria orphanage. (Same as Izayoi and Homura, and both become MCs in the LN sequel.) Jin and Pest want to have enough power to participate in the 2nd Gift Game where Sun Authority is the prize (Promise in volume 7). And by finding the Demon Lord, they can find out who the Demon Lord defeated “No-Name” in the past… I guess. Willa being the new maid in “No-Name”, The Servants are really too strong.  Ayesha gave up on being a participant in order to become a host because “Will-O'-Wisp” didn't have much money left, or Jack. Lily will probably gain some “divinity” over the next years (“Croix's Idea” to help the community recover). Porol proposes “Spirtual Train” (精霊列車). This will drastically change the transportation in Little Garden as it will be faster and can carry more people/materials than the Astral Gates. So we can guess that there will be many changes in the near future. Last Gift Game After a long short story, Asuka managed to beat… I mean kill Faceless. The sweet scene where the brothers find the family they have always wanted. Faceless has a gift that is stronger than the "Genome Tree" namely Kusanagi. Too lazy to come up with the right terms but Kusanagi is something like a “2-digit Gift.” Asuka got enough Gifts to help her on her new journey. Ah, almost forgot that Queen Halloween was the one who would “send” him to another world. So his relationship with Halloween still continues. We have a grand battle between Lulu, Izayoi, Yo and Gry. Lulu really gave Izayoi trouble (yes, he's getting stronger too) and in the end as we were waiting for finally Izayoi X Yo's fight. Actually we don't get a clear scene, but it is said that the result of their fight that lasted a long time (7 days). Yo lost because Izayoi had more stamina than him. This means that Yo failed his first Gift Game as a leader, failed his first speech. (Izayoi didn't listen) and was defeated in a duel. His reaction was so sweet after this. Yes, Yo as the new leader looks good. Izayoi decides to leave the community for a while to have fun in Little Garden (To decide whether he will live as a hero or himself). Gry and Kuro Usagi decided to go with him. After all, "No Name" was strong enough with all his servants. Another Prologue Saigou Homura (>Saigou) decides to accept the condition of Kudou Ayato (Faceless Reincarnation, he has previous memories) to recreate his (special power) immortal motion machine to save Canaria orphanage. Suzuka (Rin's sister?) Says that she looks like Izayoi, Mikado Tokuteru (Taishakuten / Indra) accompanies them since Izayoi "disappeared" so that the Last Embryo doesn't appear again. The main story of the second part is the Gift Game related to Sun Authority. Everyone would be there in some way or another except the Last Embryo, the others would actually appear… One of them would be pretty awesome too. Even so I still prefer Gift Games like the last one in this book (Like volume 5 in Underwood) For fun. Comedy. Some character development. This is what I like most about Mondaiji. I really can't wait for the second part considering the time-skip (3 years I guess) and everyone coming back with new strength (high hopes for Asuka). Jin's side is also quite interesting and I can't wait to see new and old troubled kids together. |
