| I think they limited it to like only 30 secs of the audio due to copyright issues. That's why it is still better to stick with my script https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/427466-openings-endings-enhancer-mal I will fix it when I can. |

Yea, I know I also looked at the video pages, so I know they are only using official channels, and have always used youtube and official channels for trailers and pv's, instead of hosting videos themselves, they are using spotify for the 30 second mp3's fmab rain for instance and while I also don't expect them to ever use animethemes.moe like themes.moe or hacker09's script does, it would be nice as then there would be almost no gray buttons and if they programmed it well enough like http://staging.animethemes.moe/wiki we could have pip videos across the site, which would also be nice, but not needed or necessary even, so I'm fine with continuing to just use hacker09's script. My question can only be answered by a dev or admin as we can only speculate between whatever coding is easiest for them, not wanting to get thousands of licenses due to all the work involved, and DMCA which I'm curious if they think they are protected by fair use by only having 30 second previews and if that's the primary reason they fallback onto youtube because if they can get away with not being sued why not download animethemes torrent with thousands of op/eds and host it themselves, but I don't expect them to reply as it's not important and I wouldn't if I was them. |

A lot of those videos are blocked in my country/not available on the artist page , and even if they were accessible , i would rather directly go on Youtube/theme.moe instead of there. (And since they only use Youtube , they miss some music. Like Kalafina's OSTs on Spotify.) |

| that's odd, are you sure? I doubt your script is messing with it to cause that, these are the episodes link https://myanimelist.net/anime/5114/Fullmetal_Alchemist__Brotherhood/episode when I click it, it takes me to videos, and yea it does have episodes at the top, but it has music videos when you scroll down  |
| @ShaggyZE True... What a mess MAL is doing, why MAL didn't do like my script does? MAL should just open the videos when the music title is clicked on the main page, I may try to do this with my script. |

| @hacker09 I agree that's what they should have done like put it in the popup they have for when titles are clicked, but it's just easier for them to put them in the videos tab they already had, it doesn't even scroll down with an #anchor for which one is clicked Also if you do it that way it's still going to be a pain to match the videos to the titles not sure if it makes it easier or harder now that the song title and artist are in separate elements span.theme-song-title and span.theme-song-artist |
