This Anime could've been really good if the Animation was better and tried something like The Garden of Words. I know it would've taken awhile but would've been beautiful.

It's Yuasa, so the animation "being ugly" might be intentional, but since this is part of the cursed Yuasa - Netflix deals I refuse to defend it.

It's been on my list for quite a while but I still don't want to watch it despite Yuasa being my second favorite director. It's sad how low he's fallen, tbh. Nothing but a greedy old fart.

I would have never guessed that this late I would witness a Yuasa project being rated a 6. Truly embarrassing.

Hopefully he'll redeem himself with his next project.

Oh wow
This is actually one of my favourite anime, and is one of the only anime that made me terrified and sad, mainly because of the (to a point) realistic story-
But one thing I warn people about before I recommend is the animation.
Like, at times, it can be alright. But then at other points it's pretty bad to the point it was cursed.
No hate to the animators or anything, but it can be hard for some people to watch if the animation isn't at least sub par.

Animation is not the biggest problem. The story is stupid. Considering it doesnt follow the original novel on which its based on it doesnt come as a surprise the story has cult and landmine death porn instead or actual earthquake depection.

On the other hand, i would argue it because of yuasa and his weird style of animation is the main reason many people still like it. I highly doubt a non yuasa fan could like it

I suggest people to watch tokyo magnitude 8.0 instead of this crap

Things are a bit coincidentally ridiculous at times and the characters were mostly a little empty. Yet this anime has something great about it, the story is simple but compelling suffering from being a little generic with its progression, but what a phenomenal note to finish on, I think the final episode blew the rest of the series out of the water. I cant give this anything but a 7, it was good.

To change just one thing though... It would be Daniel, wtf was that character... Hahaha
