News has leaked a few days ago, but is now officially announced. No news yet on airing date or studio that'll animate this though

I have no idea how I missed this, but certainly the best announcement news I've read in a long, long time. Fingers crossed for a good studio, then.

The only thing that really surprises me here is that the quality in the PV is higher than expected. Looks like it's not going to get the Wisman's Pupil treatment.

Maybe it was only me but when I read this a couple years ago it felt like it wanted to be an anime more than it wanted to be a book. But I would have to re-read it to understand why I got that impression. But I knew it would get adapted without a doubt after finishing book 1.
