Yes we need a remake series, Tokyo Ghoul is one of the best seinen manga ever, the best horror manga and Kaneki is one of the best Protagonist. Art is really good. Songs are top tier. So we just need a studio which agree to adapt Tokyo Ghoul and follow the manga faithfully. The anime will definitely touch a 9 rating and even Re will be like 8.4-8.6 if adapted faithfully.

Please watch Sword Art Online Progressive, it's the peak of SAO.

Unfortunately not, or at least not for a while. For as whack as the anime was, it still became mainstream, season 1 is literally 7th most popular on the site. As an adaptation it's shit past season 1, but it did well, and there wouldn't be much incentive to just make it all over again

it may be possible. depends on if any studio wants to take the project. i hope a really good studio (NOT STUDIO PARROT, the fucking naruto studio….. idk who tf thought that'd be a good idea) does a faithful reboot. maybe madhouse would be good? they’d get to make maybe ~300 episodes if they stay faithful to the manga.

I really doubt it tbh. I’m very disappointed with this series it could have been phenomenal if they did it correctly. I always set my expectations with pierrot low now bc of Tokyo ghoul bc of how horrible it was. If it ever it adapted again tho, I’d probably cry out of happiness if I see a competent studio is working on it. What studios do you think “Could” make a great reboot if it were ti ever happen?

the manga has 325 chapters + 24 light novel chapters + 7 tokyo ghoul jack chapters

tokyo ghoul already has 2 live action movies and they're pretty meh, and the kagune effects are especially bad

There's always a possibility, it's just whether or not the studio who takes it on will think it's profitable to do more than 1 season. However, the closest series i can compare it to is Attack in Titan and that has a great anime adaptation for the most part... so i'm not losin hope. We do have to wait about 10ish years after the end if the series to even hope for a reboot though

Might take another decade or so and the possibility of it happening is pretty low so no. Unless by some miracle we get an alternative ending, which in itself wouldn't make sense since so many people hate/don't care for this series anymore.
