| In Demon Slayer, the deaths of the various Demons that happen throughout Tanjiro's journey and his reaction to them are a good way to humanize the main character outside of his Sister, as opposed to having us feel bad for the Demons. It's a great way to get the audience to engage with a somber emotion, despite the fact that a lot of people seem to think that the point of the sad deaths of the Demons are for the audience, rather than Tanjiro's development. |
