animation expectations

Should I expect much from 8bit in terms of animation? Would I be able to see well-animated soccer matches or will it be just average? I'm also talking just something similar to Haikyu!! animation, not JJK or anything crazy.

The trailer animation extremely disappointed me tbh. But I should keep in mind that this was not fully animated trailer as there were some manga panel animated. So I'm gonna give them another chance. Tho the narration in the manga is top notch! It will get you hooked! I highly recommend to read it.

I have read it (its amazing) but I'm asking the people who are familiar with the studio 8bit and its anime if I should expect much from them.

I personally think the trailer doesnt look too bad. Idk, we gotta keep in mind that its still a trailer and things can still change in the animation.

I dont think its gonna be like jjk but close to haikyuu is probobly gonna happen. Ofc its a different art style but i think its not gonna be horrible or smth. I have hope

I think you can expect some okayish animation with probably some few sakuga.
I guess we can just wait and be surprised for now

It'll probably be above average but it won't have the same animation quality as Haikyuu.

I personally loved the animation in the trailer, especially the eyes and when the dude kicks the ball.

I wouldn’t expect anything outside of “meh” animation with maybe some really good bits, 8bit has some good work on slime, and the studio has stated that they won’t take on a project if they don’t think they have the right team for it, so even though it most likely won’t be great, I don’t think it will be bad. (Also I would argue that seasons 2 and 3 of haikyuu are on par with jjk in terms of animation, especially s3 but whatever)
