HunterxHunter Manga Status Update

Last month marked 1000 days since the last chapter released for HunterxHunter's manga. It has been nearly three years since then, December 2018. I suggest that the manga's status be updated from "Publishing" to "On Hiatus"

Yeah at this point it should be pretty obvious it's on hiatus and deserves to be marked as such.

Bumping this forum as November 26, 2018 was when chapter 390 was released. This Friday, November 26, 2021, will be exactly three years since that release. Furthermore, the hiatus was officially announced on the last page of chapter 390. The only indication of more chapters is, "Once a restart has been decided it will be announced in the magazine."

I agree with the previous replies. I want the series to come back as much as anyone. It was my introduction to anime, it remains one of my favorites, and I never hesitate to recommend it. We can only give Togashi our well wishes, in hopes of good health and a fervor to conclude this amazing series.

Additionally, according to the Manga DB Guidelines, V9.3:

"Series will be set to On Hiatus after 3 years of inactivity (i.e. no new chapters, volumes, or announcements). If a new chapter is subsequently released, the entry will be set to Publishing."
