https://myanimelist.net/anime/2286/Little_Nemo

Little Nemo: Adventures In Slumberland is the first anime I ever saw, in the early 1990s. Had no idea it was technically an anime until like 2014. It was produced in both America and Japan. Although I've watched the film many times, I still haven't seen the Japanese dub.

Re:CREATORS is the closest thing to a hidden gem that I can think of. It was liked when it came out, but it fell quickly into the obscurity that seasonal anime so often suffer from after they air. Regardless, it’s a brilliant piece of work that explores the creative process, an artist’s relationship with their audience and their creations, and the emotional/personal side of the way fiction and real life interact. It also has a killer OST by Sawano Hiroyuki, so there’s that.

Some shows that I think are very good, but have rarely known other people to have seen include Hyouka, Tsuritama and Shinsekai Yori.

Since you haven't rated many of the shows you've seen it can be hard to know what type of show you're even after, since you also haven't said in the thread. Scores give a good indication of the type of show you already liked.

Yet the Town Moves is a great hidden gem.
I see that you liked Wonder Egg Priority. Alien 9 is one of the pioneers in the cute girls doing dark stuff genre. It came out in 2001. However, it is short, and the ending screams "read the manga", but it's a good story. Manga's good too.

Thank you for your criticism. I have rated all the anime in my watched list. I’m glad you brought it up. Let me know what you think of my ratings.
